  5. yes Intel wifi is not supported by osx....

  7. yeah i had to do the same but was not sure in you where willing to go that far
  8. it's more like a your running osx on a dell issue...lol.. it has to do with power management not managing the hardware 100% and osx not responding correctly. you can try nullcpu and sleep enabler to see if it helps your temps a bit.
  9. use kext wizard for kexts and chameleon wizard for chame... install the latest one and in smbios section of chame wiz set your graphics enabler=yes and your resolution... there are different settings to play with to optimize your osx install.
  10. you need to install chameleon to the internal hdd.
  11. now voodoohda is not loaded but it's in your extensions folder... so either your mkext is bad or catches are. rename applehda in s/l/e just in case

  13. funny thing is in your after edp it has voodoohda loaded and hdaenabler where did that come from. and your before does not. now can you list just the ones in extra extensions. or zip up your extra folder and post it.
  14. funny it should work as i have a d430 and i edited the audio for it... can you list wich kexts are in your Extra/extensions folder?
  15. well you will need a running osx install for it. all that you ask is provided by kext wizard look closely at the previous instructions on post 11...

  17. well it seems it's correct. if the plist and the audio controller match then it should be working. what version of edp did you run?
  18. lol... much appreciated SS, can you do me a favor and post the dev id for me or post the corrected kext or its plist, whichever is easier for you... theres another user with the same problem on a d630,
  19. run system info app and give me the Ven Id and Dev Id for the audio controller System Info.zip
