  1. @everyone I need your support in order to spend more time on my projects, so if its possible to anyone then i would request you consider a donation to the paypal in first post. This is really appreciated. Thanks for your support.
  2. I've added support for your new firmware, so it will work in next version which will be released soon. Next one is a big update because i have done rework on most of the features from the scratch to make them better. My release delays are due to v4 testing which i don't have, so i'm relying on beta testers but they are not available when i have time. I've already shared my source at github, but it hasn't been updated for long time. Will update the sources when i'm done with v4 and v2 hardware as i need to document and optimize many things.
  3. Can you send me an ioregfile and system log with the dsdt files i sent and booting in safe mode, so i can look for any ideas to try patching capri kext with connectors?
  4. Hi, For your trackpad, here is the driver: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/forum/77-elan-touchpad/. For Audio, you need to use VoodooHDA (or) patch AppleHDA by following this: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/forum/76-applehda/ For Wifi, you need to either dsdt patch/wifi dev and ven id injection into Atheros40.kext.
  5. I've patched your dsdt with different platform id's in order to detect HD4000, so try them and let me know. btw What's your screen resolution? DSDT_Test.zip
  6. Can't say but possible to some files so its not recommended unless we say, however you can get support for your model. For this, follow the steps from the section "Request EDP support" at this link http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/documentation/ and we will try to assist you.
  7. Sorry for the trouble with EDP, as we are doing some changes right now to EDP in order to better support new Models we have. So, it will be completed in two days and then you will not face any problems.
  8. Well, my kext is only for Asus notebooks. But, i can l help you with your issue in some way so i need your complete system dump based on dsdt/ssdt patching thread. Send me that dump so i can look for a solution to your issue.
  9. I know about this solution but it needs patching for every Mac update and also this doesn't set brightness level at boot. My solution can set brightness level at startup and sleeping display is auto at startup which is not problem. Btw thanks for sharing.
  10. Does your touchpad not working every time after sleep? If so then i need to debug so i need your help in fixing. PM me and i'll give details.
  11. Yep, PM me for beta testing. I'm still looking for v2 beta testers, some people came but they are not available when i have time.
  12. You can find out the version you have with my driver, so just install and look at the log by searching for "Elan" in search box and you will find info like below "Elan: Detecting the touchpad FirmWare Version 4525825 Elan: Touchpad found, Assuming hardware version 3 (with firmware version 0x450f01) Elan: Successfully placed touchpad into Absolute mode Elan: Setting touchpad Range Elan: Touchpad Pad CentreX 1254, CentreY 660 Elan: Touchpad range X_min 0 Y_min 0 X_max 2508 Y_max 1320 Elan: MouseInformation { 0x20, 0x03, 0x64 } Elan: Enabling the touchpad"
  13. I'm glad as i was able to help you. If you don't mind, can you share a dump of your notebook based on my thread: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1945-dsdtssdt-patching/ from Windows? so i can add your model to our EDP database for others and also you can get updates on your model if we find anything useful related to your hardware in future.
  14. I don't understand your problem, would you mind explaining it again with a scenraio plz?
  15. No, its working fine in Mavericks as well to me. Perhaps you have Kernel cache issues/kext conflicts which is why you get dependency failed message with ApplePS2xxx kext. May I know how did you install Mac OSX and kexts in few steps? because lots of people are running into this issue so would like to find the cause for a solution to everyone. PM me your steps so we can discuss and find a solution to this.
  16. You have Synaptics touchpad "SYNxxx", so try VoodooPS2Controller which has the support for your touchpad. Perhaps you have conflicts with other kexts/kernel cache issues. Could you send me your system dump from windows/linux based on my dsdt/ssdt patching thread please? So i can give you recommended steps and kexts for your notebook and can add your model to our DB for future support. Also send me your System log from Console app with my kext installed so I can look for the cause of your problem.
  17. No, i tried to put that to silence but no use. Have to output Audio to get it working.
  18. If possible try to extract your system dump based on dsdt/ssdt patching thread located at dsdt section and send me those so i can give you suggestions and patched files.
  19. If you could send me your system dump based on dsdt/ssdt patching thread(located at dsdt section) so i can help you.
  20. Hi, What are the options selected at config page for building (or) you went with default values for every thing?
  21. Can you share your dsdt so i can add this to our EDP database for other users? Also is your LID sleep working with vanilla ACPIxxx kext of 10.9 along with fn + f7?
  22. Which driver you are using to solve this problem? Yes, there are some configuration details in my driver for some models. Let me see the driver and dsdt which solved your problem.
  23. Sorry for the late reply but i was busy. Here's your dsdt patched from the scratch for everything including Fn keys, HDMI and nvidia GPU. Give it a try and let me know. PS: use the attached boot.plist as well along with the dsdt i'm sending. DSDT_patched_G73.zip
  24. What is your élan hardware version v3 or v4? and can you look for the system log after sleep for any errors related to my kext start with Elan:xxxx? There is a new version coming in few days which will address improved support for Mavericks, improvements to some features and bug fixes. So, wait for a while.
