v3ct0r
Then I guess the AppleACPIPlatform.kext from the 10.8.2 zip didn't get replaced on the installer for some reason... All that needs to happen now is that you need to use kext wizard to replace the kext I mentioned above on the usb installer...
tonfunk
Ok, I will do this. Is it necessary to do a complete reinstall or can this kext be fixed from the usb stick on the actually installed osx? Best Regards and again many thanks for your help! On second thoughts, dont use the E6410 ML 10.8.2 zip. Use the 10.8.2 Kexts.zip and follow the instructions in Edit 9/22/12...

v3ct0r
Well, it looks like you have the me mchine I have, and I don't know what else to say other than follow the guide in the first post. It has worked for me as well as katta, and we both have properly booting systems. My suggestion would be to try again from the Creating the Installer setion and use the E6410 ML 10.8.2.zip. Again, sorry I can't be of more help.
