nasrudd
Why I still can't move my cursor using this driver I'm sure my touchpad is ELAN (ACPI\VEN_ETD&DEV_0108) my laptop is Asus TP300LD I'm sure I had followed the guide. Also I had removed the files mentioned in front.. using elan v3.8.5, v4.0 & v4.2. But boot always says : - ETD : Initializing ELAN keyboard - ETD : Keyboard enabled - ETD : Detecting Touchpad... - ETD : Probably not a real ELAN touchpad, Aborting var/log = log.zip

shinzon
I have an Acer v5-171-6675 with a v4 Elantech touchpad. Your kext works brilliantly for all but the stock brightness keys, which, by default, are controlled by fn+LArrow & fn+RArrow. Using Rehabman's ACPIDebug kext, I've traced these keys to _Q11 and _Q12 in my machine's DSDT. If it were a Synaptecs driver, it'd be a simple matter of making a DSDT edit to make the keys function as expected. How does one go about this with your driver? Paolo7297
Hi to all, i've installed the kext, but when computer starts, nothing in verbose refers to Smart touchpad but refers to voodoops2 (there's nothing in S/L/E and in clover directories). i'm attaching ioreg and system log (in the third one there are only the line with "ps2").. thanks to all Archivio.zip
emersonrsantos
Paolo, I think you should rebuild your kext cache using the program named "kext utility". I think it's more complicated... But i don't know what.. Can I show you something else?
