Administrators Hervé Posted October 15, 2016 Administrators Share Posted October 15, 2016 I run Sierra on all my Hacks, yes. I used the TrackPad pref pane of 10.11.6 and the binary exec from Dr Hurt to retain the settings.
Alex Rivera
First post updated with recent changes. I still can't figure out what's causing those freezes when playing iTunes Movies or certain videos via web, is there any log I can check? I'm not getting a KP, it just hangs and I need to hard reboot.

punjabigator
Running 10.12.2, and system would not go to sleep after I close the lid. Sleep work otherwise if I leave the unit idle for a while. Any help or giving a direction will be very helpful. 10.11.3 had no issues. kfiatos
I'm having trouble with bluetooth after sleep. I use DW1550 and bluetooth is properly loaded when system is booted but I get bluetooth unavailable when waken from sleep. I managed to pinpoint that usb is at fault. When booted the 2070 chip is listed in usb devices but after sleep it is not there anymore. I really don't know where to start debugging? Clover? DSDT? SSDT? Maybe I miss a kext. I'm using Bluetooth firmware uploader 3.1.5 from this forum, same issue is with Rehabman's version. Please point me a direction to go to
Administrators Hervé Posted January 23, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 23, 2017 @kfiatos: did you patch your DSDT USB controllers with power management code? @Alex Rivera: one way to fix the iTunes movies issues is to use the Shiki kext. Known to fix green screen problems on Ivy Bridge and can also fix issues on Haswell iGPUs.
kfiatos
Could you please elaborate Hervé? It was almost year ago when I last touched DSDT and I can't remember what I did then with DSDT
