There's a guide and bootpack here by Hervé
-
Clover folder found in the debug shows a really old bootpack and static DSDT that's causing your issue. You're not using the files I've linked above on post 2. Perhaps you're booting from the USB and it's pulling files from your USB installer.... Compare the files I have linked in post 2 and the Clover folder you attached with the debug, see the differences??

You need to to go Accessibility and enable click to tap. DW1520 is wifi only, no Bluetooth, you need to get DW1550 for that combo wifi/BT Slow boot could be due to a number of things. Do you have a mechanical drive or SSD? If SSD, you can go in the Config file and disable Trimming, not needed for APFS. Check /EFI/Clover/drivers/UEFI, what do you have installed? Touch?? you mean touchscreen?

post the debug file. Probably script don't like USB wifi devices. Try doing it offline https://github.com/black-dragon74/OSX-Debug

Nvidia gets disabled via SSDT-Disable-DGPU.aml iGPU injection is under Devices/Properties, new way of injection using Whatevergreen. As for the time, make sure you don't have any legacy kext installed or in other directory that might get loaded. Update to latest Clover. Use this version and install with the following settings: Install for UEFI booting only Install Clover in the ESP UEFI Drivers\Recommended Drivers ApfsDriverLoader AptioMemoryFix AudioDxe DataHubDxe FSInject HFSPlus Additional drivers PartitionDxe Themes (Optional) Install Clover Preference Pane (Optional)

Did you replace the Config.plist file too?
-
I recently posted a bootpack for this model here Replace the contents into /EFI/Clover The files you're using is outdated other than Lilu.kext and AppleALC.kext

@thatsmokeydude HDMI = In the Config file, enable the "framebuffer-Con0-enable", basically remove the # Enable "framebuffer-Con0-type" and change 00040000 to 00080000 Audio = Try changing layout-id to 11 Wifi = Add Lilu.kext and AirportBrcmFixup.kext for Wifi. BrcmPatchRAM3 is for Bluetooth, not wifi Sleep / Wake = Known issue, no fix; workaround is to add an eGPU. Or disable sleep altogether.

Yes, remove all kexts you have installed with kext wizard from /L/E and or /S/L/E and only add kexts from CopyToLE to /L/E Don't use kextwizard. Just copy the kext and repair permissions and rebuild cache from terminal commands or use Hackintool.app. -
e7270 [SOLVED] E7270 | Stuck into boot install USB
Jake Lo replied to Daniel PN's topic in The Archive
None are plug and play. They all need kexts to work. DW1820a need an additional patch but also works, as far as wifi is concern. BT works for the most part. That is what I have on my E7270 currently. -

Latitude E5440: fine-tuning macOS Catalina installation
Jake Lo replied to marlov's topic in The Archive
Hmm, those files look like from some of my bootpacks, even down to the directory structure like /EFI/Clover/kext/Other/LE. I have since changed it to /E/C/kexts/Other/CopyToLE. USB_injector.kext from his files is from Hervé's E6440 guide, so it might not be suitable for the E5440. Here, replace the attached contents into /EFI/Clover overwriting the old E5440_Catalina.zip -
e7270 [SOLVED] E7270 | Stuck into boot install USB
Jake Lo replied to Daniel PN's topic in The Archive
@Daniel PN I'm using the same files I uploaded in the guide that you're using, there's no issue with sleep and wake. Do you see blinking power light when system is asleep? When wake, if screen stays dark, try pressing Escape key to see if screen comes back on. If you have the Intel wireless still, try disabling Wifi in the BIOS. I have a DW1820a on this system working nicely. Note: When you sleep the system and then plug in the HDMI, it's not going to wake the system. You need to have the HDMI connected before you close the lid for the external monitor to stay on. When you open the lid, the LCD will come on as primary and then set the HDMI monitor as extended monitor. -

What wifi does it have? Intel is not supported. Need to be replace with a supported device. See here My recommendation is go with a Broadcom chipset, Atheros has been dropped. For Clover install the latest 5104 / 5103. You'll encounter the message that it's not supported, Just select install anyway. After that, copy the files from you USB EFI over. -
Dell Latitude 3400: macOS installation keeps failing
Jake Lo replied to MrJonesIII's topic in The Archive
The card seems to have an E-Key slot, DW1820a has an A+E key slot, so no issue there.
