  1. Just to confirm, with this, you're able to get external HDMI monitor displaying? Is the external monitor 4K? Try booting with this boot arg -igfxnohdmi
  2. can you post IOReg file with the HDMI connected?
  3. The touchscreen is not I2C, I believe it's USB based. Should work OOB.
  4. Install Clover to the local drive and then replace the files
  5. In that case, try booting with the following boot arg so you won't have graphics acceleration and see if HDMI works -igfxvesa
  6. That's normal whenever you force shutdown a computer. Have you verify / confirm if the HDMI cable is good? Have you tested if HDMI is working on this system while on Windows? Maybe try running a virtual Linux OS and test the connection?
  7. Try this, replace into /EFI/Clover, don't merge 7490_Catalina.zip
  8. Yes, both external ports show as HDMI from IOReg but need to confirm from your physical system. Can you answer the other questions? How many ports does it have for external video? HDMI = DP = VGA =
  9. No need to quote if the conversation is only between you and I. How many ports does it have for external video? HDMI = DP = VGA = Please post an IOREG file
  10. Yes, in the Config file under Boot, enter the name of the drive (case sensitive) in Default Boot Volume, change Timeout to whatever timeout you prefer.
  11. https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/334899-intel-framebuffer-patching-using-whatevergreen/ Look at LSPCON section, does it apply to your system?
  12. All necessary kexts are found in my E7470 bootpack for Catalina but is backward compatible https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/9179-dell-latitude-e7x70-clover-uefi-only/?tab=comments#comment-95548 For Wifi: Lilu.kext, AirportBrcmFixup.kext, FakePCIID.kext, FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext For Bluetooth: BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext, BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext, and BrcmPatchRAM3.kext // Goes into /L/E Repair permissions and rebuild cache
  13. Which MacOS are you running?
  14. no need to quote your reply try this one config.plist.zip
  15. Just switch your layoutid in your config file from 13 to 11 should fix the audio issue Also good idea to update Lilu.kext, AppleALC.kext and Whatevergreen.kext. Your version of Clover can / should be updated too
  16. @ghostinthemirror did you rename the Config file to Config.plist or at least choose the new Config in Clover option? The reason is IOReg shows a difference serial # than the Config I uploaded with the changes.
  17. @leaf389 can you post your Config file? Try layout-id =11 + AppleALC.kext @ghostinthemirror Try this Config config-HDMI.plist.zip
  18. ok, sounds like SafeMode is causing the Clover installation issue. FWRuntimeservices.efi is for OpenCore, not for Clover. Try installing Clover from here Try booting with verbose + debug 0x100 mode to determine the boot issue Try -igfxvesa too if it's a graphics issue
  19. Since we're trying to fix the issue on Catalina, we should work from Catalina. Go ahead and restore to the earlier Config without your added FB-con1 patch, export a new IOReg file, compress and attach it.
  20. Does your current drive dual boot with Windows? If so, Windows default EFI partition is 100MB, MacOS requires 200MB.
  21. Try this, I think HDMI is on the second port. Rename to Config.plist config-HDMI.plist.zip
