  1. Can you attach the file so I could review it with you?
  2. See here for more info https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/hotpatch/SSDT-PNLFCFL.dsl Check in IOReg if your dGPU is loaded https://raw.githubusercontent.com/black-dragon74/OSX-Debug/master/IORegistryExplorer.zip You can attach it here for review
  3. Try adding these to ACPI/Patched Brightness_CFL.zip
  4. Hmm, you could try going off of this Dell 2 in 1 to get started
  5. Post IOReg files: One with USBInjectAll + port limit patches (without USBPorts.kext) One with USBPorts.kext (without USBInjectAll + disable port limit patches) https://raw.githubusercontent.com/black-dragon74/OSX-Debug/master/IORegistryExplorer.zip
  6. Try adding this to /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched https://osxlatitude.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=20824
  7. Here you go, modded the H_EC -> EC to ECDV -> EC Under /EFI/Clover/drivers/UEFI, remove the following OsxAptioFix3Drv.efi //you already have AptioMemoryFix.efi , one or the other, not both SMCHelper.efi //need for FakeSMC only, not VirtualSMC Remove AppleBacklightFixup.kext //already included in new Whatevergreen.kext config.plist.zip
  8. What error did you receive?? Please be more specific than not loading...normally
  9. What did you change / update prior to the reboot? Need more information... Which MacOS are you running?
  10. Just compress and attach your Clover folder here for review. What's the issue with reboot? Whenever you update any kexts in /S/L/E or /L/E, then you'll need to repair permissions and rebuild cache prior to reboot. If the kexts are in Clover kext, then it's not necessary. There can be issue whenever you upgrade something, so always have a bootable installer available when that happens.
  11. it's really simple, just manually change it to this. It's not available in the drop down
  12. You can use the same bootpack you're using currently for Mojave.
  13. @tinDell should be ECDV to EC, E5470 does not have EC0 Look at this post closely Also the bootpack is provided here that has all you need for Catalina on E5470
  14. That is correct, 10.13.6 is the last supported version for SandyBridge HD3000. However there are some success running Catalina but with graphics kexts from High Sierra but has some graphics glitches. Using Dark Mode alleviates some of that glitches but I still don't recommend it.
  15. In the Config file under KextToPatch are 2 patches, one for 1GB, the second for 2GB. Currently they are set to disabled YES, change either one you chose to NO will increase the vram
  16. I have a vanilla Catalina guide here with settings for Clover https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-precision-vostro-xps-clover-guide/?do=findComment&comment=94956
  17. You need to format the USB installer to GUID/ Journal Extended prior to creating the boot disk.
  18. Did you format the USB with GUID / Journal Extended?
  19. Give this a try Backup the EFI folder on your USB drive Now replace it with this Then copy the contents of the attached into /EFI/Clover E5470_Catalina.zip
  20. I mean UEFI enable and AHCI enabled under General
  21. Do you have AHCI /UEFI enabled in the BIOS? Secure Boot will have to be disable
  22. Seems @ahalol was able to get DW1820a to work if you have the same chipset he has. What you are describing is exactly what I encounter with my DW1820a (subsystem id 1028:0021 and Dell part # CN-0VW3T3)
