  1. There are many existing threads about Latitude 7480. If anything else, do post your system's specs. Those laptops exist in Skylake and Kaby Lake models...
  2. Post IOReg file using IORegistryExplorer.app v2.1
  3. https://github.com/acidanthera/OpenCorePkg/releases
  4. try this: Delete the following /Library/Preferences/com.apple.PowerManagement* Reboot and set to these settings: sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0 sudo rm -f /var/vm/sleepimage sudo pmset -a hibernatefile /dev/null sudo pmset -a standby 0 sudo pmset -a powernap 0 sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0
  5. Here you go, give this a try. Updated to OC 080 with latest kexts Select config-intelwifi and rename it to config.plist if you have the Intel/BT combo. Latitude 7490 OC0.8.0.zip
  6. the edit is not saved. Here, edited it, removed the # config.plist.zip
  7. Try my HP EliteBook 840 G3 EFI, basically the same hardware, just use the config-intelwifi.plist for your Intel wifi card. Might have to create your own USBPorts kext but we could work on that afterwards.
  8. Just open a command prompt in Windows and run this command reboot. Set the time again if needed Reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation /v RealTimeIsUniversal /t REG_DWORD /d 1
  9. Post your Big Sur files include IOReg file is possible Please include your system specs as well
  10. @robi62 Upgrade OC and the kexts to the latest
  11. Sorry, not familiar with that external USB drive. The internal WD is supported. Try a different external SSD. It could also be that the USB ports was not detected or lost connection when system is about to initialize.
  12. According to the thread, USB-C works. HDMI might be hardcoded to the Nvidia which is disabled since it's not supported.
  13. check this thread https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/15182-latitude-5591-no-hdmi-output/
  14. Your signature shows you're installing to an external SSD drive but what is the model of the internal drive? It might be what's causing the crash, in that case it can be disable via SSDT patching.
  15. System is a Skylake with HD 515, not Kabylake nor WhiskeyLake. He's using the EFI from the link I provided about DVMT above posted by the OP It's a bit outdated.
  16. Please post full system specs. What model is the hdd/NVMe?
  17. Follow this steps found here Basically you need to set the DVMT Pre-allocation to 64MB
  18. Just upload OC 0.7.9 Give that a try since I haven't upgrade to 12.3.1 yet.
  19. MacBookPro12,1 is for Broadwell, you should go with MacBookPro11,4 for Monterey You have too many patches doing the same thing, use one or the other, not both or all. SSDT-PM.aml or SSDT-plug.aml SSDT-data.aml with CPUFriend.kext or CPUFriend.kext with CPUFriendDataProvider.kext
  20. As stated by Hervé: The include USBPorts kext is hardcoded. So if you change the SMBIOS, make sure to edit the USBPORT' info.plist to match it.
  21. @Viez You probably updated the driver and opencore.efi, but no the config.plist. You can't mix and match. Should all be from the same version.
  22. Please post model and full specs For Monterey you should use latest OC and Kexts
  23. is your drive formatted to GUID / Extended Journal or APFS?
