  1. ok, try this one Fixed the issue config.plist.zip
  2. forgot you're on Catalina. Replace the new files with this Config.plist config.plist.zip
  3. try at boot gui, hit the space bar and then select Reset NVRam. I only update the above files with new kexts and OC drivers and updating the config for OC 0.8.0 https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/782-opencore-releases/
  4. Post full system specs and EFI folder you're using
  5. give this a try If it doesn't boot, no need to reinstall, just restore the EFI folder Or best to test it on an USB bootable drive 7480_Intelwifi.zip
  6. Give this a try, upgrade to OC 0.8.0 with latest kexts replace into EFI E5570_OC_0.8.0.zip
  7. Not booting or Intel Wireless not working?
  8. Post your system's full spec Depending on the specs, if you have an NVMe Samsung PM981, PM981a and similar, they are not supported. Then boot in verbose mode to see where your boot hangs/freezes. A screenshot such as the one you posted is not useful at all.
  9. There are many existing threads about Latitude 7480. If anything else, do post your system's specs. Those laptops exist in Skylake and Kaby Lake models...
  10. Post IOReg file using IORegistryExplorer.app v2.1
  11. https://github.com/acidanthera/OpenCorePkg/releases
  12. try this: Delete the following /Library/Preferences/com.apple.PowerManagement* Reboot and set to these settings: sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0 sudo rm -f /var/vm/sleepimage sudo pmset -a hibernatefile /dev/null sudo pmset -a standby 0 sudo pmset -a powernap 0 sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0
  13. Here you go, give this a try. Updated to OC 080 with latest kexts Select config-intelwifi and rename it to config.plist if you have the Intel/BT combo. Latitude 7490 OC0.8.0.zip
  14. the edit is not saved. Here, edited it, removed the # config.plist.zip
  15. Try my HP EliteBook 840 G3 EFI, basically the same hardware, just use the config-intelwifi.plist for your Intel wifi card. Might have to create your own USBPorts kext but we could work on that afterwards.
  16. Just open a command prompt in Windows and run this command reboot. Set the time again if needed Reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation /v RealTimeIsUniversal /t REG_DWORD /d 1
  17. Post your Big Sur files include IOReg file is possible Please include your system specs as well
  18. @robi62 Upgrade OC and the kexts to the latest
  19. Sorry, not familiar with that external USB drive. The internal WD is supported. Try a different external SSD. It could also be that the USB ports was not detected or lost connection when system is about to initialize.
  20. According to the thread, USB-C works. HDMI might be hardcoded to the Nvidia which is disabled since it's not supported.
  21. check this thread https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/15182-latitude-5591-no-hdmi-output/
  22. Your signature shows you're installing to an external SSD drive but what is the model of the internal drive? It might be what's causing the crash, in that case it can be disable via SSDT patching.
  23. System is a Skylake with HD 515, not Kabylake nor WhiskeyLake. He's using the EFI from the link I provided about DVMT above posted by the OP It's a bit outdated.
  24. Please post full system specs. What model is the hdd/NVMe?
