  1. Replace files to /EFI/Clover Just need to update a few things according to post #2 here
  2. Try using AppleALC.kext + Lilu.kext with layout-id = 29, add EAPDFix.kext or CodecCommander to /L/E to fix sleep/wake issue.
  3. Try switching back to layout-id = 11 with the new files Please post IOReg IORegistryExplorer_v2.1.zip after with the new files
  4. You should create a new thread for Sierra so it won't get out of hand 1) Since you're on Clover, you should restore the graphics kexts to vanilla, should work with the DSDT/Config file 2) I update my DSDT with patch from yours, see if it makes a difference 3) Post your Clover folder for review for further assistance in the new thread. DSDT-brightness-Key.zip
  5. vanquybn's file. Ok, I think I fixed it or bandage it and remove a couple of duplicates. Give it a try. Replace into /L/E Use layout-id = 18 as he stated Repair permission and rebuild cache ALC293_Fixed.zip
  6. No, replace them both into /L/E Repair permission and rebuild cache Actually, looks like the file is corrupted. Some issue in the PinConfigs info.plist. Don't use it until it's fix
  7. You're missing a few files from the link I posted. Need your Clover folder and kextcache.log.
  8. post result from this command to determine sleep issue log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason"
  9. File fixed in post #5. Try changing SMBios to MBP11,1 Generate a new SSDT with SSDTPRGen.sh with the new smbios
  10. change ig-platform-id = 0x59160000 change AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer to AppleIntelKBLGraphicsFramebuffer for HDMI audio under kexttoPatch
  11. If you had looked at the bootpack from my guide I linked, you would've seen the hotpatches for the audio which is what you're missing. I know of Pokenguyen's patches, he is one of our crew and has a guide here but it's a bit outdated with the patches and kexts. Made some modifications to the patches and added a few. Had to remove the brightness patch, no longer works on 10.12.4 and up. Added HDMI and SD Card reader patches You'll need the SSDT-PNLF.aml + AppleBacklightInjector.kext found in my bootpack and add to Config file under SSDT sorted order and hot patch. See my Config file for clues. Updated file. There will be decompiling issue, need to fix this Update: I created a patch to fix this automatically here If (LEqual (PM6H, One)) { CreateBitField (BUF0, \_SB.PCI0._Y0C._RW, ECRW) // _RW_: Read-Write Status Store (Zero, ECRW (If (PM0H) { CreateDWordField (BUF0, \_SB.PCI0._Y0D._LEN, F0LN) // _LEN: Length Store (Zero, F0LN) })) } to this before patching or after patching If (LEqual (PM6H, One)) { CreateBitField (BUF0, \_SB.PCI0._Y0C._RW, ECRW) // _RW_: Read-Write Status Store (Zero, ECRW) } If (PM0H) { CreateDWordField (BUF0, \_SB.PCI0._Y0D._LEN, F0LN) // _LEN: Length Store (Zero, F0LN) } Dell E7x40 patches.txt
  12. try replace Config and place SSDT-Hack.aml in /E/C/ACPI/Patched 7710_audio.zip
  13. In your DSDT, you have HDEF layout-id set to 1, but in your Config file, you have it set to 3. IOReg also shows layout-id = 1. Looking AppleHDA_ALC255.kext, you need to set it to 3. So change it to 3 in your DSDT or remove it, should fix the audio.
  14. Sure, what issue are you having? What's working or not working? Post system's full specs. Follow this to report issue #1
  15. So you're using Chameleon loader? 1) HD 3000 should be natively supported, what kext did you install? provide link please 2) Also provide link to PowerManagement kext as well.
  16. Use AppleALC 1.2.0. If you're putting it in /L/E, make sure to run the above commands again.
  17. sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E* sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E* sudo touch -f /L*/E* sudo chmod -Rf 755 /S*/L*/E* sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E* sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E* sudo kextcache -Boot -U /
  18. Use lilu 1.2.0 and AppleALC 1.2.0 in only 1 location. In your case it's /L/E There's an Option in Clover where you can boot without kext injection by hitting the spacebar.
  19. I see you have AppleALC v1.2.1 but lilu 1.2.0. Try updating Lilu to 1.2.1 or downgrade AppleALC to 1.2.0 Note: Wow, I couldn't even boot the system with those 2 kexts mixed together. Had to use both version at 1.2.1 or 1.2.0
  20. Starting with Skylake, HDAS appears in DSDT where you need it to be HDEF for audio to work. So yes, you need to either rename them in DSDT/SSDT or in Config file.
  21. Have you look at post #2 and 3 from here. Original bootpack for Sierra can be found here and updated following post #2 The patched AppleHDA_ALC292 needs to be updated with this one DSDT has layout-id set to 1 but you have layout-id set to 13 in Config file....
  22. boot with the USB installer and then select the SSD to boot. Did you copy the Clover folder from the installer to the installed drive?
