Merge is fine. Verify that you see HFSPlus.efi inside /EFI/Clover/driver64UEFI. If it still won't see the Installer drive, then you must have done something incorrectly. Verify /EFI is in the hidden EFI partition, not on the root of the drive.

No, they are under kextToPatch in your Config file. Use Clover Configurator to edit

The E7x70 files goes into the /EFI/Clover folder correct? Do you have NVMe or Sata SSD?

Remove Shiki.kext and see if that helps. I see you have 2 patches for Cursor 48MB and 9MB. Try disabling the 48MB to test, if still fail, then disable 9MB and enable 48MB.

The generic EFI/Clover folder does not have Config.plist, Kexts folder and ACPI folder, so either way will work.

You need to remove Rehabman's VoodooPS2Controller.kext. It's clashing with ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext

Sleep during boot could be due to you using DSDT from system with different version of BIOS. Check your system log to see if it has Alps touchpad. Most Latitude I worked with does, but this could be an one-off. If you have Windows, you could check device manager for keyboard/mouse

What ethernet card? Does it have HDMI or DP or both? post screenshots of Status and PCI List with DPCIManager https://sourceforge.net/projects/dpcimanager/ Launch and save IOReg, compress and attach it IOReg IORegistryExplorer_v2.1.zip At Clover GUI, hit F4 or Fn+F4, that should extract the raw file to /E/C/A/Origin

Give this a try. Replace all files into /EFI/Clover. I suggest either replace it in the USB installer and boot from that to test or place in HDD EFI, but keep USB installer handy incase it won't boot. K556UR.zip

No need to rebuild, you had already done so 20 times. Just need to update the EFI/Clover folder with the file and folder I attached. Keep the kexts you have been using since I didn't attach any. The SSDT and Config file was configured specific to that CPU, so no need to regenerate new SSDT. You can add RAM or remove RAM as any time, it does not affect the DSDT, only if you change BIOS version or BIOS settings. I noticed your signature said A13, but in the screenshot it shows A12. Stick with A13 as this version, the Optimus option won't revert itself after reboot/restart as it does other version. The max RAM this system can hold is 16GB, means, 2 8GB per slot or maybe 1 16GB stick. See here

Post the system's specs and your Clover folder for review. If you're using Chameleon, then post the Extra folder. Compress the folder and use the "More Reply Options" to the lower right to attach files here.

If you have Sierra working on the latitude now, it should continue working with the same bootpack. You just need the latest Clover and enable FixHeaders_20000000 using latest Clover Configurator.

You just need to generate an SSDT.aml with ssdtPRGen.sh by pikeralpha for different CPU, no need to change DSDT.

Check in BIOS if you have only 1 stick of ram that it should be on the 1st slot.
