  1. Make sure the wireless switch is set to ON, it's on the right front side. No need to tape this card to work on the T410s.
  2. Looks like in 10.10.1 the USB installer will extract a new vanilla kernel to your new installed drive instead of copying the patched kernel. Boot with the USB Installer and use the terminal to copy the patched kernel to the Installed drive overwriting the vanilla kernel. > cp /volumes/"Install OS X Yosemite"/system/library/kernels/kernel /volumes/"macintosh SSD"/system/library/kernels/
  3. For Brightness, use Fn+F3 (numLock) and Fn+Insert (Pause) I just started to try Clover and I too can't get the Battery Status to work, only seeing an X, but works fine with Chameleon. Need to figure out what options or patches to get that going.
  4. Well, did you install your Windows with GUID or MBR? If MBR, it's better that you install OS X to another SATA drive. I believe there's 4 sata connection, you'll just need to purchase a sata cable, there's an extra power adapter already in place. Or you could disconnect the media drive and use that cable instead. External drive will work too.
  5. Did you try the DSDT I patched for snoopers in post #126? Files are for 10.9.5 but you can get the 10.10.1 files from here.
  6. See guide here with bootpack on post #4 You need to use a patched kernel for early reboot also found in the guide.
  7. Bootpack is available here for Yosemite, just keep your DSDT and SSDT.
  8. VGA won't work, make sure to use the bottom DP port and not the top.
  9. Did you set the BIOS as suggested? What type of video connection are you using? DisplayPort to DVI? DisplayPort to DisplayPort? Make sure to use the bottom DP port during install.
  10. As stated in the guide, place the folder in /System/Library so it'll look like this /System/Library/Kernels/kernel
  11. If you find that Clover is hard to understand, you can try my guide here. Bootpack ( kexts and DSDT) are available on post # 5. Remember the Optiplex 9020 has an Haswell processor that causes early reboot. So make sure to use the Haswell Kernel atttached in the guide below.
  12. Yes, it has to be on during startup. If you switch it off while it's on, it won't reconnect until you reboot.
  13. What I do is switch back and forth depending on your needs. Have both DSDT in the /Extra folder. Use the HD4000 if you're mobile and Nvidia when you need to use external display.
  14. Yes, NVS 5200m is recognized with 1gb vram, while the HD 4000 with 512mb. You can customized it to 1gb, but I have not tried it. For sleep you have to disable the nvidia card, but you'll lose external display capability. For external HDMI connection, you'll need to use the nvidia card. What I do is have both DSDT's available. If want to use the HDMI connection, go to BIOS to disable Optimus and boot with correct DSDT from the chameleon command line. I default o.c.b.p to the HD4000 display.
  15. krustal, His system only has the HD 4000, no discrete card nvs 5200. Your system, the HDMI are linked to the nvs5200 card. So with Optimus enabled, nvs5200 disabled, all external display are disabled. If you want to use external display like HDMI video, you'll need to disable Optimus and use the nvidia card.
  16. HDMI monitor works. VGA is not supported after Mountain Lion.
  17. You need to patch the Kernel for early reboot. #1
  18. Try the kexts and dsdt here. I don't use Clover, but the files are the same just need to be place in different directory.
  19. have you tested HDMI audio?
  20. Herve is right. Check on the right side for the wifi switch. Slide it so it won't show red. If it's red, it's OFF.
