Yes, you can have both as that's how I have it install. Rebranding the card will not cause any issue as well. -

You said your full screen resolution is 1366x768, so that's the max it'll go. As for wireless, you probably have an Intel, that needs to be replace with a compatible one. Look here. -

Did you restore the DSDT.aml you had working into Extra? -
If he slowly left click it (select), then he could drag. If he click it's normally(fast), it won't drag. Tested this version on E6420, same as the last 2 versions. single click is like double click. right click, launches twice. Could be a speed issue, I don't know.

Just tested on E6420, it's still the same with the left and right mouse double clicking on the trackstick. Will try it on E6430 and E7440 in a minute

[SOLVED] I have my screen split in 4 - E6520/Intel HD3000

try my bootpack for E6420 on my signature file below, but keep your DSDT file. -
firefly1, there's your problem. When your system goes to sleep, your USB drive gets disconnected. When it wakes, it has a problem reconnecting to your USB drive, therefore unable to locate your OS, so it hangs.

Bronxteck is right, you need to disable dualLink Where did you get your DSDT? Upload it here or PM me and I'll fix it for you. -
Tried both version, seems fine on E7440. But on E6420, I observed the following: If I slowly click on file or folder, it'll just highlight If I click naturally on file or folder, it' act like double clicking. If I have file or folder open, I can click and drag if I click slowly but if I click it naturally, I won't be able to drag. So I think you're right about the timing issue.

What loader are you using? Chameleon or chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded)? If chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded), switch to Chameleon.

I'm beginning to wonder if it's something to do with your EVO SSD. Do you have another drive to test with?
-
Here you go: 11:07 - left mouse, middle mouse, right mouse button 11:08 - wiggle trackstick 11:09 - trackpad left mouse, right mouse button 11:10 - wiggle touchpad system.log.zip Update: Now on my E6430, single click is like double clicking after a couple of reboots. Click and drag also not working persistently. Almost the same behavior as E6520.

Let's make the cursor speed to 1.5x, it's not as fast as I expected with 1.2x. While testing on E6430 and E7440, double clicking, click and drag works fine. But when testing on E6520: Click and drag is now working, but it's not persistent. Single click seems to double click again. When right clicking, it launches twice. I think it might be due to my palm hovering over the touchpad. Is there a way to ignore the touchpad when trackstick/mouse button is being use and reactivate when touchpad is use?
-
sontrg, It's almost perfect, but now I can't click and drag with the trackstick. Double-clicking is working. Thanks for fixing it. Scrolling speed is fine, can you make the speed of cursor 1.2x? Tested on E6420 and E7440.

Are you running version 2.5.4d for AppleIntelE1000?
-
This is what I have currently running on my E6430 with i5-3320m, 4gb ram, 128gb HDD, 1366x768 resolution, BIOS A12. Installed with Mavericks 10.9.0 (13A603) Then upgrade to 10.9.1 (13B42) It won't help you with your current install, but hopefully the bootpack would work for you. E6430_Mav.zip

Tested on E6430 with id E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0x08 0x1d E6520 with id E7=0x73 0x02 0x64, EC=0x88 0x07 0x9d E7440 with ID E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0x08 0x22 Trackstick: I swipe down, screen goes down and when swipe up, screen goes up. Right click works fine. Mouse speed is fine. Here's what I noticed when I use the left mouse on the trackstick: Click and drag, takes a few attempts before it works. If I hold down the left mouse slowly, then drag works with 1 attempt. Left click is like double clicks if hold down firmly (quickly). If I click is slowly, then it works correctly too. So, I think you might be right about the speed. Not a deal breaker, just want to report it. Things like to have change/add: Speed up mouse movement on trackstick Slow down left mouse so it won't act like double-clicking Reverse trackstick scrolling Again, thank you for your time and efforts.
-
Have you tried this?
-
Trackstick scrolling works! Awesome job. Here's my finding using the trackstick and the left and right mouse: Scrolling is reverse ( up goes down and down goes up) Side scrolling is also reverse ( right goes left and left goes right) Sometimes the single clicking with the left mouse, it acts like double clicking So far tested on E7440, will update on other models

AppleHDA kext IDT 92HD90BXX(111d76e7) for Mavericks 10.9.1
Jake Lo replied to telanx's topic in The Archive
I'm running 10.9.1 on an E6420. I have version 2.60 in E/E and delete AppleHDA in S/L/E. Mic is working. Make sure to run myfix (quick), if not, try full.
