You do know what the fix for the brigthness problem is .. right ?

Just to double check, can you confirm, that choosing D630 in EDP works better than Choosing D830 ?

I think those KP's that many is getting is "in OS" issues and not directly boot related. One interesting test that could be done, was to use no voodooHDA kexts (sound) at all while testing.. My bet is that our problems is related to: 1. Sound 2. Battery kext

Actually.. i'm still on SL.. Lion have bugs.. bad bugs.. hence i stay with SL for the time being (offcourse, i have Lion in dualboot)

Rebranding keys cosmetically + OSX Keyboard Functionality Annoyances
Leon replied to qaz's topic in The Archive
Hey mate, Sorry for the delay.. been busy preparing our new website and EDP. 1. i'v done some remapping, eg. i like to use CTRL+C/V/A etc. to copy/past/cut etc., i'v also switched around on my WINDOWS and ALT key.. seems to work better for me like that. 2. hmm.. never thought about that.. what model do you have ?.. i have a D430 and never use those keys... I know that there is some applications to remap keyboards.. maybe you could try one of those and let us know if it works ? -
ok.. guess its something in 10.6.3 that is causing problems for you.. so try the D430 image (it works for all latitudes)
-
remove 2gigs of mem and try again...
-
Are you running EDP.. and what version ?
-
Hey Mate, Actually.. i dont know. .give it a try and let us know
-
If my case, i had to mount my efi part and format, then install chameleon again...
