have you tried adding the ml nullcpupm kexts and sleep kexts enabler options in edp or are you not using edp?

did you set both options in power saving prefpane battery and ac ? repair your disk permissions with disk utility they can cause quirky things to happen.

have you tried the myHack trackpad kext? also that atheros wireless card does not seem to be supported in osx. does the d620 one fit your new machine?

core duo or core 2 duo? makes a difference, lion and ml need core 2 duo cpu. but snow you should be ok i think on core duo. also try different usb ports and shut off wifi for initial instal BT also if you have it.

well i guess this can help you, boot cd maker app can make it for you http://www.darwinx86.net/software/darwinx86_software.html using our boot pack for your model and dropping the contents into bootcd contents extra folder, but my Hack installer should also work for you.

sometimes overheating is caused by an internally clogged fan and heatsink fins, i just pulled a huge amount of lint out of a laptop that was overheating.

well there are socket p versions also of those cpus, d620 requires socket m merom cpu with a 667 buss frequency.

d630 nvidia should work with our boot pack same as the lion install but you might have to test different usb ports if you get errors maybe the rear ones.

is the restart fix in your boot.plist? you can check with chameleon wizard or champlist

no wound up reinstalling ml and all is fine. i can connect my devices... i guess it was a corrupted pref or plist

at the chameleon prompt boot with darkewake=0 and once booted see if it shut's down properly. if it does then add it to the Boot.plist.

what graphics card does it have exactly... i know nvs110m from d620 nvidia is not supported as there is no nvhal40 in ml... if your lion partition shows as nvhal40 loading then thats the issue ml has dropped support . only the graphics that boot nvhal50 work like the nvs130m in d630/830 nvidia model

no you have to remove them from sle if you manually added them there and put then in your E/E folder then run myfix again

rebuild using edp and choose an audio option.

use my Hack to make the installer pen. it allows for mbr install.

do a permissions repair with disk utility and see if that solves your issues

apple stopped using 64 bit gma kexts at 10.6.2 so your next gen os will depend heavily on bad code hence why apple dropped support for it. plus you will not have acceleration which ML loves to use on the stupidest things like opening launchpad.
