  1. this is a bit old but it might help understand the ig platform id-s for hd4000 http://blog.stuffedcow.net/2012/07/intel-hd4000-qeci-acceleration/
  2. tried some of your older config files you posted in the first couple of pages?
  3. wow that"s a pretty bad issue. how does your home stay upside down? oh the issue is the computer screen never mind?
  4. didnt we need a ps2nub kext with the old kext back in the day? maybe it's needed with Dr.hurts version if it was based on code before ps2nub was integrated? i remember also having ps2nub and the new ps2 kext with it injected together also caused kp's at boot.
  5. did anyone ever track down exactly what part of the kext causes the kp. like is it the container kext of the voodoops2 or if it's one of it's inner plugins? it might be something stupid. maybe a link to source code of the desired broken one i can try compile for you guys to test? we had similar issues in the past which is why we had put together the Anv/slice trackpad option in EDP. we merged (i.e.: cherry picked through the kext/plugins) the better working plugins and the outer kext to make a working solution for that kp issue at that time.
  6. well if 10.11.3 works then leave it there for now i mean its not a real mac any ways and if it works why disturb it. sometimes upgradeitis gets the best of us.
  7. post the injector kext as well since that is what would need to be looked at
  8. they might have added a new dependency to the new kext's info plist that needs to be updated or added to your injectors info.plist dependencies are usually at the bottom of the plist's you can check them with text edit.
  9. search dsdt for "AAPL01,DualLink", Buffer (0x04) { 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, change 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 to 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 to disable dual link
  10. mm there is a word filter from the my hack side of the forum that got integrated during the merger. old beef.
  11. try rebuilding the cache or booting without it to see if it loads back to the OS you can also try in safe mode. For display brightness maybe you need to add EmuVariable from clover installer. For reboots that can be a few things like something not correct in DSDT like LPC or maybe another Fix is needed but you can also try adding DataHubDXE from clover installer. For Voodoo you might need to install the settings loader script For WiFi you might have to delete your networks, manually remove your networking preferences, reboot and add them back might also need to set it as EN1 and built in.
  12. i remember on the D series some of the parts where interchangeable like keyboards and displays sometimes even parts of the housings. they where designed that way to save on overhead costs for the IT department. i would think E series might also follow that rule.
  13. see if using F12 boot menu allows you to load your OS X partition or check if your bios allows to put the path to clover as a boot option.
  14. are you able to download a fresh OS X installer app now that you have a vm of OS X ? i would like to rule out a bad installer image if possible.
  15. how many slots of memory does the computer have? if only 2 and both are populated then let it be. as for virtual os i guess you would make the installer as you would on a native os. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201372then install clover to the created installer.
  16. well you can always pick up a cheap one that might need a bit of tlc like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Latitude-E7440-i5-4th-Gen-Selling-for-Mother-Board-and-CPU-Only-SALE-IS-FINAL-/262425869330?hash=item3d19ccfc12:g:4dkAAOSwQNRXLilm
  17. it shows as having 11 partitions and 2 EFI's plus chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) seems to also be in the list. try simplify your install. disconnect the drives you do not need at the moment and try again. another thing you can try is moving your ram to the first bank looks like you have one in bank 0 channel A and one in bank 2 channel B
  18. do you point the installer to install to your Apple Volume?
  19. did you backup or save the old EFI folder that worked for you or DSDT? looks like some devices on your USB.
  20. in terminal sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 sudo rm /var/vm/sleepimage
  21. maybe try a different Ethernet kext and see if it persists. or check energy saver pref pane to see if it has lan sleep enabled.
