  1. Dear elim, I've just updated to EDP 3.1 and sleep is working fine for me. Cheers!
  2. Dear geeland, You need to repair your windows boot with the windows dvd. Cheers!
  3. Dear rog, The chameleon you mentioned, is that the one from EDP? By the way, inside your /Extra, is the directory name themes or Themes? Surprisingly, it has to start with capital letters if its not. Cheers!
  4. Dear rjjd, Try to add the following line in the org.chameleon.Boot.plist if it is not already there:- Graphics Mode 1440x900x32 Kernel mach_kernel Kernel Flags arch=x86_64 pmVersion=0 Again try to download and install EDP 3 to see if it can resolve your keyboard issue. Try to type "sudo su" and then enter your password. After that "chown root:wheel install.sh" and "chmod 755 install.sh". Lastly run it with "./install.sh". Cheers!
  5. Dear robertb, Have you tried to repair permission with disk utility? Cheers!
  6. Dear carbarmo, If you managed to boot up to the line above it means that your boot up went well. Don't worry that is just os x complaining because the AppleIntelCPUManagement.kext is not loaded. It seems to me that your gui is not starting due to graphics issues. But i don't think changing cpu would cause that. Have you tried to boot to other os to check if your system is working fine after the cpu upgrade? Cheers!
  7. Dear francois, Are you using an MBR partition scheme on your hard disk? If yes, have you make you os x partition active? Cheers!
  8. Dear sitcom, Have you run myfix full mode on your system after running EDP? Cheers!
  9. Dear Elim, For item (2), have you tried to install chameleon to the new os x lion partition? Cheers!
  10. Dear Jerome, By the way, what is your graphics card? Is it GMA 950? If it is, have you applied the GMA 950 brightness fix? Apart from that, have you updated to EDP 3? I believe it has a few fixes that improve screen brightness. Cheers!
  11. Dear adrouart, I believe its the EDP 3. So far my system has yet to KP on me. Previously, I always KP on VoodooHDA.kext every now and then. Further, I believe the EDP crew has added new goodies to EDP 3 to further improve system stability and performance. Cheers!
  12. Dear ninjajef / robsgb, Which chameleon did you used to install? From EDP? Cheers!
  13. Dear clif, There are a few ways of doing it. It is the easiest if you can make your new hard disk into an external hard disk for transfer purpose. Once you have that, you need to create two new partition say 80 gig each on you new hard disk, use disk utility from your installer usb to create an image of the old hard disk to the second partition and restoring it to the first partition of your new hard drive. You can then boot into your new hard disk to test it, delete the second partition and expand your first partition to use the entire new disk. Lastly, install chemeleon to the new hard disk. Well, that's one way of doing it especially if you don't have a second os system and just the usb installer. Cheers!
  14. Dear clockwork, Check and see if IOATAFamily.kext is in S/L/E or E/E? Cheers!
  15. Dear Sam and AmonRat, Are you able to boot your new os x system by using the mod cd? Cheers!
  16. Dear Jerome, For your information, there is no major issue when using myhack 3.1 to prepare the usb installer. You just need to run it again to install Extra bootpack for your model downloaded from the Installation top menu above and then run myfix full mode. You also need to boot with mach_kernel arch=i386 -v -f. We have also released EDP 3 which have been improved to work in tandem with myhack / myfix. Cheers!
  17. Dear peterW, Good to hear that your system is up and running. Dear jus, You need to replace the AppleACPIPlatform.kext (look in the forum on this) and install EDP 3. Cheers!
  18. Dear rjjd, Good to hear that you can boot into your new ML installation. Did you run myfix full mode after installating EDP 2,2? That usually solve a lot of weird issues. If that does not work, try not to enable sleep enabler and see if your KP is gone. Well, sleep enabler is not 100% stable for Lion and even more so for unreleased version such as ML as not much testing has been done yet. You should also try EDP 3 as Leon have added lots of new goodies in it. It has automatic myfix built into it. You can look ant leon's topic here : http://forum.osxlati...dp-30-released/ Cheers!
  19. Hi dellboy, Have you tried to install / reinstall EDP 3. Cheers!
  20. Dear rjjd, Try the command line without "sudo", just rm.... and cp..... I just remembered the installer command line is basic only.... Cheers!
  21. Dear gamemasher, Look like the kernel boot up went ok and the problem i think is graphics. The gui is not loading. Have you installed the Extra bootpack to the new os x system? Cheers!
  22. Dear rjjd, From you usb installer, open Terminal under Utilities top menu. Once you are in command line, type the following:- sudo rm -R /Volumes/'Macintosh HD'/System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext sudo cp -R /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext /Volumes/'Macintosh HD'/System/Library/Extensions/ I'm assuming your os x system volume name is Macintosh HD. After that, run myfix full mode and reboot. Cheers!
  23. Dear Gamemasher, We need more information on whats causing the boot problem. Can you boot with mach_kernel arch=i386 -v -f and let me where its stuck or KP? By the way, did you replace the 10.7.4 appleacpiplatform.kext? It a known issue with 10.7.4 update. There is a topic on it in the forum. Cheers!
  24. Dear rjjd, Lets try the easy way first. You can use terminal from you usb installer to transfer the appleacpiplatform.kext from the usb installer's /S/L/E to the new os x system's /S/L/E manually. Are you familiar with command line work? Cheers!
  25. Dear PatArch, Yes. You need to use 1.9.2 for Snow Leopard. Cheers!
