  1. Dear z, Apparently x3100 intel and safari dont play well together. I also have random freeze especially when using safari. I have yet to find a solution except using a different web browser. Cheers.
  2. Dear ianyo, Im not sure its possible without kext hacking. But i will look into it as it sounds interesting. Have you read it being done somewhere or have you done it with other os? Cheers.
  3. Dear oris, Replacing the kext should work. Have you tried turn off wifi from bios, delete it in network settings and turn it back on in bios to see if its detected again? Cheers.

  10. Dear jeep, Yes. Installer terminal is limited. If im not mistaken, you should already be a root in terminal. Do you have os x installed? You can try to enter safe mode with mach_kernel -v -f -x -s and access terminal. Cheers!

  13. Dear tman, You may need to install the SleepEnabler.kext from EDP to fix sleep. You may also need to install the VoodooBattery.kext to fix power / battery status. By the way, after you install EDP did you run myfix full mode? That normally resolve the KP issue. Cheers!
  14. Dear Huw, Have you tried to run myfix full mode on your new os x installtion? Cheers!

  17. Dear IMC, Did you apply the coolbook fix (i.e. replacing the AppleACPIPlatform.kext) after updating to 10.7.4? If you have not, look in the forum on 10.7.4 and AppleACPIPlatform.kext replacement). It will resolve a lot of issues including the slow boot and hanging at PCI configuration begin. If you prepared your lion usb installer using myhack 3.1, you should be able to install to MBR. Furhter, chameleon should be able to boot into Windows 7 nicely. Just press left or right when you see the chameleon gui. Cheers!
  18. Dear lanyo, Welcome to os x latitude! After installing os x using myhack, we would recommend that you use generic Extra from the bootpack for your model from the menu above . After that, upon first start up, install and configure EDP 2.2. Don't forget to run myfix full mode (from myhack) on the system after installing EDP 2.2 before rebooting. This is very important for EDP 2.2. Otherwise you'll get a lot of weird KP. When you get your internet connection working, we would recommend that you download and install the latest EDP 3.1 which is compatible with myhack. Look for the topic on it in the forum for instructions. Cheers!
  19. Dear macman, Unfortunately the original intel wifi card is not supported by os x. You need to replace it with a broadcom one. Search around the forum on list of compatible model. Cheers!
