LeadvilleMatt
No joy on any of my attempts. I created a new myHack install and started from scratch. Booting with -v loads everything correctly until the screen merely goes dark (like the GUI attempts to launch). Using the 'extra' file from another user on this thread yields the same result. Any one had success getting a e6420 with Intel HD3000 working with 10.8.2? Thanks. I'm brutally frustrated at the moment.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted February 16, 2013 Moderators Share Posted February 16, 2013 Hi LeadvilleMatt, Try my Extra kext posted here post #18. It uses the MyHack process. Just replace the Extra folder in the USB installer and at the end when asked to install drivers, point to the same folder. Good luck.
Angelusdomini
Hello, I have a e6420 running 10.7.5 I was able to get most of system working after a little play using MyHack. I would like to use this system for work and I have a docking station. I would also like to use two external monitors. I haven't found a why to disable the built in LCD and put the unit in to a clamshell mode. I am searching the web and trying to find an idea as to how to do this. Any suggestions would be appreciative. Thank you, John
iMick
Would someone like to help and add this system to EDP? So other people can easily install / update. In order to add it to EDP, we need your Extra folder (with all extensions inside).
