Administrators Hervé Posted June 22, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 22, 2015 If you were using patched kexts in /S/L/E before your update, you'll have obviously lost that after the update. You would then need to repatch the graphics kexts that were installed by the update (most notably the AzulFramebuffer kext)
verebes
The only problem is that apart from the kexts sitting in /EFI/Clover/kexts/10.10 and the AppleHDA.kext i did not install any when i was installing yosemite 10.10 can anyone guide me howto patch that AzulFramebuffer kext or perhaps someone has it patched already?? thank you for the help. Administrators Hervé Posted June 22, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 22, 2015 If you're using Clover, you probably were not using any patched kexts but faking desktop HD4600 GPU id. Try to boot without cache to begin with.
verebes
Ok i have managed to sort it out with the help of this tutorial. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304267-intel-hd4400-full-qeci-in-yosemite-1010210103/ I already had patched DSDT SSDTs but everything else was helpful Thank you for the help. Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 30, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 30, 2015 Try adding this to clover, kextToPatch <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>HDMI-Video/Audio for HD4400/HD4600</string> <key>Find</key> <data> AQUJAAAEAACHAAAA </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleIntelFramebufferAzul</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> AQUSAAAIAACHAAAA </data> </dict> if that doesn't work, then try this <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>HDMI-Video/Audio for HD4400/HD4600</string> <key>Find</key> <data> AgQJAAAEAACHAAAA </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleIntelFramebufferAzul</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> AgQSAAAIAACHAAAA </data> </dict> additional patching might be require for audio, but this should get you HDMI video capability. Administrators Bronxteck Posted July 5, 2015 Administrators Share Posted July 5, 2015 if you have a intel wifi card you need to replace it with a supported wifi card there is a list of them if you search the forum.
