conedmiro
Has anyone attempted to update to El Capitan GM yet? I added rootless=0 and nv_disable=1 to my bootargs, but when i choose the osx install boot option, it hangs at the apple then shows me a circle with a line through it! Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 11, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 11, 2015 @paddy111padam I don't have this hardware but there's guide here to check. Or wait for other members here to chime in with their response. @conedmiro When you boot to Clover menu, hit spacebar and select verbose mode. See what's causing the hang. Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 11, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 11, 2015 See here for a list of supported cards. Broadcom BCM4352 802.11 ac wifi and bluetooth combo card might be your best bet. Webcam, if it's not working natively, you could try macam.app

GM was pulled out by Apple; must be for a reason... If 10.11GM does not boot to completion, try: boot without cache in verbose mode check if FakeSMC loads or not if it does not, try and boot in single-user mode and load it manually FakeSMC not loading is usually due to incorrect location of the kext
tjdracz
Did anyone successfully managed to get HDMI audio and sleep working on Dell xx37? I've hackintoshed mine a while ago but only got HDMI video and the sleep is spotty at best. It's I5-4200U with HD4400. Everything else seems to work and I've changed the WiFi card to rebranded AirPort one which works like a charm. Just wondering if there's any point in trying to install the Yosemite again and try to make it work slightly better. Thoughts?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 14, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 14, 2015 Upload your DSDT/SSDT and Config file. HDMI audio should be working for HD 4400.
