The brightness patch doesn't seem to be showing in the IOReg file. Try adding this to the ACPI/Patched folder SSDT-PNLF.aml.zip
-
Did you have FileVault enabled? If so, make sure to include necessary updated drivers the E7470 bootpack would not work on the 7480, they are 2 different model with different generation of cpu /hardware

@Osxfrench Just add AudioDxe.efi to drivers folder or disable it in the config.plist file. Not use unless you want to enable boot up audio.

What's the source of your installer and how did you create it? I see you mention com.apple.recovery.boot, I don't remember seeing that in my installer. I use the createInstallMedia command from MacOS -

Try setting SecureBootModel to Disabled instead of Default I meant this to be changed in the config file, but yes in the BIOS too this is for my Lenovo X1C5 but the BIOS settings should be similar as well. -Under Config Tap Display Boot Display Device -> Thinkpad LCD Shared Display Priority -> USB Type-C Total Garphics Memory ->256MB Boot Time Extension -> Disabled -Under Security Tap Memory Protection -> Execution Prevention -> On Secure Boot -> Secure Boot -> Off -> Platform Mode -> UserMode ->Secure Boot Mode -> Standard Mode -Under Startup Tap UEFI/Legacy Boot ->UEFI Only CSM Support -> No

Latitude E5520 i5-2520M HD3000: help needed for macOS
Jake Lo replied to Dumitru030's topic in The Archive
Post your system's specs. If you have Windows, then run dxdiag.exe, export and attach it here. High Sierra is the last fully supported HD3000 for Sandy Bridge although you can still install Mojave and Catalina, there will be some glitches. https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/8238-supportedunsupported-gpus-graphics-cards/ -
Looks like drive is not detected Try setting SecureBootModel to Disabled instead of Default

Latitude e7470: Big Sur issues, motherboard beeps, graphic glitches
Jake Lo replied to robrub95's topic in The Archive
The wireless section is commented out so it's okay. The audio properties, I guess you could manually change PCIRoot(0)/PCI(0x1F,3) -> PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1F,0x3) If your audio works, then it's fine. Just the checker is being picky. -
It's backward compatible
-
try this. oc 0.7.6 E5440_OC0.7.6.zip
-
did you follow the instruction on the bottom of his guide? Make sure to add -no_compat_check to boot-arg or change smbios to MBP11,1 to install. then switch back to MBP10,2 after it's done

Latitude e7470: Big Sur issues, motherboard beeps, graphic glitches
Jake Lo replied to robrub95's topic in The Archive
I don't have that issue on my E7470 using that same bootpack. My system stays on 24/7 unless it goes to sleep. You might want to try upgrading to latest BIOS. Check on your RAM and or hard disk. I'm using a broadcom wifi so if you're using an Intel wifi/BT, I don't know if that could be the cause as well. The kexts included for Intel are the latest version. -
[SOLVED] E5550: changes required to obtain HDMI audio
Jake Lo replied to mcmellenhead's topic in The Archive
Issue is not with ALCID, it's the connector type for graphics. I set Con1 to HDMI, I guess the default is DisplayPort. You can actually copy the entire PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) from under Device/Properties from the config to your OC Config file. -
