Use Clover Configurator to edit Config.plist located in /EFI/Clover On the left of the app, select ACPI. On the right, looks for it under Fixes (2) and enable it. You didn't answer my question regarding the brightness slider... -
Try replacing with these files into /EFI/Clover Enable Switchable Graphics M6800_NVS-Off.zip
-
Install this and then copy the EFI from your USB Install for UEFI booting only Install Clover in the ESP Drivers64UEFI\OsxAptioFixDrv-64 Install RC scripts on target volume Install Clover Preference Pane

Do you see the brightness slider in Display preference? Can you drag it and see if it increase? Try enabling AddPNLF_10000000 in Config file -
There are some minor differences between Yosemite's patches and Sierra's, but the majority should work.
-
I had my suspicion about that, but I looked at your original EFI and I didn't see it there since you mentioned about reusing your EFI to boot. Glad that's sorted out.

run in terminal to determine sleep issue log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason" If I patched the DSDT for sleep, you'll lose the USB 3.1 because that's usually what's killing sleep- 18 replies

CodecCommander and AppleBacklightInjector found in the files I attached, I assume you were using them. A little googling goes a long way https://pqrs.org/osx/karabiner/ See here for example under post Install -

Does the brightness slider show under Display preference? You probably just need to copy the 2 kexts in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other/LE to /Library/Extensions, repair permission and rebuild cache. You might also need to reset the Fn keys using Karabiner-Element.app -

Try this config. Not supported means there's no kexts available at this time for any Intel Wireless to work. You need to replace it with a supported card like DW1560 or DW1830 See here config.plist.zip -
I see you're dual booting with Sierra. You need to run the Install from High Sierra again, sometimes it take a couple of runs.

What patches had you applied? I see you made a modification to the Method _PS3 in SSDT-18.aml to turn off the discrete card. If that's all you did, then you can use the files from post #2 and DSDT.aml from #4 and just make that same mod in SSDT-18.aml.- 18 replies

No DSDT patches are apply for the wireless/bluetooth combo card. You just need 4 kexts and 1 hotpatch See post 1 & 2 here
-
Here, replace your EFI folder with this and then add the attached into /EFI/Clover 5547_A08.zip
-
Boot the USB to Clover GUI, hit F4 in the keyboard. Now mount the EFI partition, compress and attach /EFI/Clover here for review and patching

Sounds like Nvidia is not loading. Try not injecting Nvidia. Replace SMBIos Board-id to Mac-4B7AC7E43945597E
