  4. Why use Optiplex 9010 bootpack? That's for a desktop. Why not just use the E6220 bootpack in post#2?

HDMI audio option only appears when you have an HDMI display connected. Is there a reason why you're using MacPro3.1 smbios on a laptop?
  9. it's either in EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.11 or Other or in /System/Library/Extensions or /Library/Extensions You could do a search by PS2Controller
  10. Make sure you don't have more than 1 mouse kext. ie ApplePS2Controller and VoodooPS2Controller

Ok, try this. Remove VoodooHDA and AppleHDADisabler if you have them installed. Make sure you have the vanilla AppleHDA in /S/L/E, restore it if you have removed it. Install this dummy kext AppleHDA_ALC663 to /S/L/E or /L/E and repair the permission and rebuild cache. Replace your Config with the attached. It's been added with patches on-the-fly for the AppleHDA. DSDT has been change from layout 28 to 3. I've included 2 versions, replace with v2 if the first doesn't work. Both patches are from Mirone's collection. Try this for bluetooth ALC663.zip IOBluetoothFamily.kext.zip
  16. If you followed that guide, then you're using Clover loader. No need to post your bootpack if you're using the same from that guide. Otherwise, if you use your own tweaked, then compress your Clover folder and upload it here using the 'More Reply Options' option on the lower right next to the Post tab.

that's for Codec: Intel Haswell HDMI. after you export, look at the heading. It should show code: alcxxx Use this cat /proc/asound/card1/codec#0 > ~/Desktop/codec_dump.txt

Not asking to patch, just to find out what device you have, might already be one patched somewhere First, we need get the dump of your audio codec from linux. So, get into any of the Linux distributions of either Live USB/CD (or) Full install. And enter the following command in terminal to get the dump in text format at Desktop. cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 > ~/Desktop/codec_dump.txt (or) cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#1 > ~/Desktop/codec_dump.txt (or) cat /proc/asound/card1/codec#0 > ~/Desktop/codec_dump.txt

See here to get the codec ID. Patching the FB for HDMI audio won't help until you have a patched AppleHDA.
  21. Use Inspiron 5558 HD4400 bootpack instead or just install RealtekRTL8100 for ethernet. I'll get your DSDT patch. Need to know what audio codec you have in that system, is it ALC255 or ALC283 or other? Upload the IOReg so I could determine where to patch for the SD card reader. Can you get a screenshot of the devices with DPCIManager? screenshot of status and PCIList Your wireless card is not support although Bluetooth will work. You'll need to replace it. There have not been much success to HDMI audio with VoodooHDA. What is your codec ID, perhaps there's already a patch AppleHDA somewhere.
  23. The Generic_EFI folder doesn't have customized Kexts, ACPI (DSDT/SSDT) and Config.plist. You get those from your specific system (E7440 if you're building to an E7440) , you merge them together and you have a full bootpack (EFI).
