  1. @visio See post #1 to 3 here. User was able to proceed after resetting the BIOS in post #3.
  2. No, most prefer the latest version when it comes out. So obviously the latest version now is El Capitan. You can download them for free as they are available. Once the latest version is out, the older versions are no longer available. So I don't know if you could still get them from AppleStore, as I was not able to search for it anywhere. Logic Pro X if you're referring to the latest version should be able to run in El Capitan, Yosemite, Mavericks, and maybe even older OS X. It really depends on user's preference.
  3. Are you connecting with VGA or DP cable?
  4. Kextutility and Kextwizard don't patch kexts, they install kexts by copying them to the given directory and fixing permissions. Patches on-the-fly in the Config.plist include these which are already done by the pokenguyen. Patching AppleHDA's binary Enabling Trimming Patching Kernel to prevent auto reboot of Haswell system (Clover feature) Patching of AICPUPM (Clover feature)
  5. Try guide here. Bootpack is in post #2
  6. No issue upgrading to 10.11.3 with comboUpdate. Since you're using Clover, all new kexts will be patched on-the-fly if you have them on the config file.
  7. If you're using Other folder for kexts, make sure to remove 10.11 or place FakeSMC in 10.11 and remove Other, not both.
  8. Backup the Clover folder and any kexts you have installed to /L/E or /S/L/E. There's either Clover or Enoch branch of Chameleon that supports El Capitan. Chameleon is easy to configure but Clover has patch-on-fly capability and UEFI. Stick with what you have working now. After you create the USB installer, replace the Clover folder with your backup. Save the kexts from /L/E to be install to the working system, not the USB installer.
  9. Make sure all the files are from the bootpack and not just the generic created by Clover loader.
  10. go to terminal, run the following diskutil list mkdir /Volumes/EFI sudo mount -t msdos /dev/ /Volumes/EFI Note: is an example
  11. Are you using Clover Configurator or EFI-Mounter to mount the partition? or other utility?
  12. It might not be loading FakeSMC. Mount the EFI partition and check to see if it's in /Clover/Kexts/10.11 or Other
  13. You want to load the EFI partition of your Hackintosh, not your iMac. Becareful to not modding the wrong system and brick your iMac.
  14. do you have optimus enabled or disabled? since you're using the NVS DSDT, you should have optimus disabled. Try also using MBA6,2 Smbios
  15. Upload your bootpack (EFI Clover or Extra) and system's specs. There should be a patched AppleHDA already for this system. Also export IOReg using this Compress all before attaching using 'More Reply Options'.
  16. You could try removing all the kexts you installed to /S/L/E, replace the EFI folder with one from here. Then repair permission and recreate cache and reboot.
  17. @Hervé Yes, the dummy kext works as long as you have the vanilla AppleHDA.kext in /S/L/E and the patches on the fly in Clover Config. Of course it'll require that cache is working for on the fly to work.
  18. Output looks good, but I don't see the patched kext AppleHDA_IDT.kext mentioned. Recopy the kext to /L/E, you'll get an error. Click to ignore the message and run the commands again. You should see AppleHdA_IDT mentioned and a successful update at the end. Reboot to see if audio works.
  19. Put the output here after you ran the last 2 commands.
  20. Your Intel wireless, that's what I'm assuming is in your system is not supported. Unless you mod the BIOS to bypass the whitelisting, your only option is to use an external supported USB wireless device.
