  1. which wireless card do you have?
  2. Make sure you don't have any PS2Controller in /EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.11 or Other
  3. Shouldn't be an issue upgrading, but you'll need to upgrade the bootpack and Clover version to at least 3320 before you do. Your signature show BIOS version A14...are you sure? Do you have artifacts issue?
  4. Try latest version of EAPDFix. You'll need to change the codec ID for your headphone and FixType to 3. Use mine for example. No issue with the patch on the fly in my Config file. Works just fine on El Capitan on my E7440.
  5. It's as Bronxteck wrote. When you see the Clover GUI during boot, hit the spacebar on the keyboard. You'll see a dropdown selections, use the arrow key to select boot without cache and hit enter.
  6. It's a bit overkill, but yes, both. This specific version of CodecCommander has a profile ALC292 patched to fix the hissing noise on the headphone. Made with theDarkVoid's help, but it won't wake audio after sleep. That's where EAPDFix is needed. It's still not perfect, but it's perfect enough for me. Test for yourself. If you have a better solution, please share.
  7. Thank you Dinesh. This version works just as well as Final version. No issue with KP when music is playing and waking from sleep.
  8. You'll need CodecCommander and EAPDFix from this pack. Found in Kexts/Other/LE, install to /S/L/E or /L/E
  9. Try this to completely remove the sleep image sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 sudo rm -f /var/vm/sleepimage sudo pmset hibernatefile /dev/null Get the script here to generate your own SSDT for Broadwell
  10. Upgrade without an issue.
  11. Does your system have an Nvidia card as well? Have you generated an SSDT for your CPU?
  12. Would it wake up if you just tap the power button?
  13. Download this, place it in /EFI/CLover/Kexts/10.10 Remove any other PS2 kext you're using.
  14. That's your wireless card. Use the app DPCIManager.app that Hervé mentioned above to find the info for your ethernet.
  15. Could be your model had a broadcom ethernet. Try BCM5722D.
  16. You will have to unlock your BIOS, do you have the password? If not, you can contact Dell Online Chat. You'll need to supply your service tag # found underneath your system or the BIOS.
  17. Try latest version of GenericUSBXHCI
  18. Did you use the bootpack I linked above? If your wireless is an Intel, it's not supported and will need to be replaced. Broadcom or Atheros are known to work but only certain chipset. See here for a listed of working devices.
  19. everything looks fine with the reg. I even tested the config and DSDT/SSDT on my system with similar specs and HDMI Audio works just fine. Did you confirm your HDMI cable is working fine? Perhaps you might want to try different ig-platform-id
  20. See here regarding the BIOS. For sound, use the bootpack from my Clover guide here.
  21. Try enabling : slide=0 rootless=0 kext-dev-mode=1 Asus AICPUPM Inject Nvidia
  22. It could be that your BIOS is locked. Upload your Config file and DSDT/SSDT, I'll examine them.
  23. When you enable Asus AICPUM, what KP do you encounter? It usually shows the kext that's hanging.
