  1. I don't own this model but I don't think there will be an issue upgrading or clean install. A few things you'll need to do prior: Upgrade Clover to latest version v3320 Update the Config file to include SIP Disabling Backup just in case See my El capitan guide. You can use the E6230 or E6430 Config file and kexts depending on your system's display resolution. Keep your DSDT and SSDT.
  2. Patch and kext only work on the Intel HD graphics...are you using the nVidia graphics?
  3. Save the generated SSDT.aml to /Extra replacing the file there. Launch console from 'Spotlight Search'. From there, select System log. Do a search for 'Wake Reason'. That may determine what is causing the sleep interruption.
  4. You are not using the Clover files from my guide on post #2. It doesn't include lspcidrv.kext, or you have some additional kexts added beside VoodooSDHC. The files included an USB injector for El Capitan.
  5. https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh DSDT and SSDT are required for sleep to work. You might also have to set hibernate mode to 0 from the terminal, run pmset -g sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0 The default is 3. You can't have 2 PS2 controller running at the same, might cause conflict. With ApplePS2Controller, you won't get multitouch because it's just a generic kext for standard mouse. With VoodooPS2Controlloer, there are a few branches. They are for SmartTouch, Alps, Synaptics, and Cypress that I know about. They all use the same name so you have to know where you got the source from. The branch you want if for Alps. You can try asking Ahmad from the Refined Alps touchpad thread if he could support the 105 german keyboard. His time is limited so hopefully he has time for you.
  6. Generate your own SSDT.aml with ssdtprGen.sh, see if that fixes your sleep issue. As for multitouch, you can have 2 finger scrolling with VoodooPS2Controller. See Ahmad's Refined Alps touchpad thread. On his last post, use SonVu2's version.
  7. I can't take the credit. I know that upgrading to A13 will cause the artifacts. But once you upgraded, you can't just downgrade to A12. Artifacts will still occur. A member discovered a way to reset it by going all the way back to A03, then you can upgrade to A12 without an issue. This had been confirmed to have fixed it by a few other members including myself.
  8. Did you have a modded IOAHCIBlockStorage? If so, you'll need to restore the vanilla file. As for webcam, check to see if your USB ports are loaded correctly, check 'about this mac'.
  9. Tested on V3 id E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0x08 0x1d (E6430/E6230/Exx30) - On Mavericks. No side scrolling - 2 fingers scrolling, but with wide gap between fore and middle fingers - tab and drag is glitchy, hard to get it to drag V3 id E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0x08 0x22 (E7440) Tested on El Capitan 10.11.1. - Right click with 2 finger tab - glitchy - Tab and drag works same as above - No side scrolling - No inertia
  10. Sorry, I was mistaken you are talking about boot glitch. Yes, that won't solve the artifacts issue. Did you downgrade your BIOS previously? That won't work. What you need to do is go to Dell support site. Download BIOS A03 and A12. Install A03, reboot and then install A12. Once done, check the bios, set to 'Load Defaults. Apply and then go to SATA Operations and set it to AHCI.
  11. Don't forget to install the boot screen patch kext IOGraphicsFamily.kext from the middle of the guide.
  12. Try repairing your cache again. Webcam should work. SD Carder, you'll need VoodooSDHC.kext and change the vendor/Product ID to match the device on your system. Do a search here for E6410 / E6420 SD Card reader for more info.
  13. Upload your DSDT and config, I'll take a look.
  14. You need ACPIBatteryManager.kext v 1.53 or higher
  15. Plug in headphone, put system to sleep, then wake it up. Audio should be higher then, but once you unplug, you'll have to do the same process again.
  16. Launch DSDT.aml with Maciasl. Set the preference to ACPI 4.0. Close and relaunch DSDT.aml. Click on Patch, paste the above code in the window and click on Apply. For Clover, make sure NewWay and FixRegions are disabled. They tend to cause battery status with an 'X' for this model.
  17. For DW1520 to work, you need to use SMBIOS MBA5,2 or 5,1, El Capitan has whitelisted it. Try booting without cache, hit space bar when you see the clover GUI, select no cache. Then reboot again in normal mode. The patch only fix a 90% of the glitch, not 100%.
  18. Make sure you have the node-id set correctly in the info.plist for your device. If that still fails, change 'Fix Type' to 3.
  19. Unfortunately it's not supported See here. Unsupported Device_ID 4359 - BCM943228 HMB/AzureWave AW-NB111H 2.4/5 GHz, abgn, 2 stream, 300 Mbs + BT3
  20. re-run the permission commands until you see a successful output. The DW1540, what is the product/vendor ID? Use DPCImanager.app to check
  21. Try this as for the wireless, try the dsdt patch here. You need to determine your device location in ioreg
