No need to reinstall. Either place Nullcpu back or install the patched AICPUPM, all is included in the bootpack. DSDT is also included.

Did you use Clover or Chameleon? Click on Yosemite Guide on my signature below, lower right. On post #2, you'll find needed files for your E6420. You need to determine your display resolution to pick the correct DSDT. VoodooPS2Controller is also included for you keyboard and mouse.

The interrupt version or SonVu2?

Run it again until it's successful. sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E* sudo kextcache -Boot -U / Install to /S/L/E is fine.

E7440 Experience - Laggy Behavior During/After Installation
Jake Lo replied to dpw95's topic in The Archive
Sounds like you don't have full graphics acceleration. Pokenguyen's files are somewhat outdated. Use bootpack from here. You might have to update Clover to v3320 first since the Clover files are from v3320.- 2 replies

E6220 Yosemite, can't seem to get Chameleon onto the harddrive
Jake Lo replied to drjibe's topic in The Archive
Shouldn't cause any issue with the update. Sound should work if you have install the patched AppleHDA to /S/L/E. You might have to do it again after the security update. -
See here.

myHack doesn't support Yosemite. You'll have do create your Installer manually or other means. Check out the D830/D630 threads.

AppleHDA will need an extra patch to work on El Capitan. Please upload your bootpack and I'll take a look. I assume you're on Clover?

[SOLVED] M4800 - Help needed for AppleHDA (ALC292)
Jake Lo replied to vanquybn's topic in The Archive
Just curious, what system do you have? -
See reply here. MBP 11,2 should be fine. When did you download the bootpack? I updated yesterday with the latest ACPIBatteryManager

You could uncheck EDID injection and enable Intel but if you graphics is working, you could leave it as is. The port patching for HDMI audio, just keep port 205, 304 is not needed. Voodoops2Controller is fine but must be from a specific branch. You need the version from either Ahmad or bpedman. Those versions are developed for the Alps touchpad. Version from Rehabman is for Synaptics, although he did at one point merge his version with bpedman's version.

[SOLVED] M4800 - Help needed for AppleHDA (ALC292)

Try the file from my E7440 bootpack. Same codec ALC292. Patching on-the-fly is in the config file. -
Trouble installing Mavericks on Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H
Jake Lo replied to wsteele's topic in The Archive
That depends on what type of work you need it for. The onboard HD 4600 should be good enough for most users. -
Remember Intel 1st Gen Graphics is not supported. Unless it has the Nvidia graphics, you may as well give it up now.

Trouble installing Mavericks on Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H

Not sure if your GeForce is supported. Try removing it for now. Boot with the following -v -f GraphicsEnabler=Yes IntelAzulFB=10 -
does the T430s have a difference sound card than the T430? What resolution issue are you having?

[SOLVED] E6430 Problem getting clover up and running
Jake Lo replied to firewall's topic in The Archive
It's for power management which is not supported natively and require a patch such as the one Bronxteck suggested. You could use NullCPUPowermangement will be fix that KP or since you're using Clover, enabling that will automatically patch the kext for you. Open the Config.plist with Clover Configurator 4.24/4.25. Under Kernel and Kext patches, enable 'Asus AICPUPM' -
What loader are you using? Chameleon, Clover, or others? Do you have DSDT patched? What kexts are you currently using? Please more info. Include your Extra folder if Chameleon or EFI folder if you're on Clover. This might help make it easier to assist you.

NO, just this additional patch to the config.plist under KextToPatch <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>AppleHDA - El Capitan</string> <key>Find</key> <data> gxnUEQ== </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> AAAAAA== </data> </dict>

Dell Latitude E5530 Installation - Working Approach?
Jake Lo replied to dpw95's topic in The Archive
With addition to that, El Capitan has introduce new challenges for USB ports. -
If you see that MBP11,1 or 11,2 works better, than go ahead and use that, There's no advantages that I know of other than the fact E7440's don't have a built in media player as an MBA. Rehab man's voodoops2 is for Synaptics Touchpad. The version used for the E7440 is a derivative of Rehabman's voodoops2 for Alps touchpad. That is why his latest versions only shows as a regular mouse and not as a touchpad. You can try Ahmad's version. He has fixed the so call "twitchiness", but it seems to cause KP for me with his newer versions. I haven't test his latest version yet though.
