  1. SSDT-8 is for disabling Nvidia card, does your system have optimus enabled? During Clover boot, hit the spacebar and select verbose mode. Want to see where the hang is at and post it here.
  2. you probably could remap the keys through DSDT but I'm not skilled to do that. for audio after sleep, did you do this? Install this to /S/L/E to fix audio after sleep issue
  3. What you need is SSDT-6. Here's the compiled file. Compile SSDT-7 as SSDT-8 from the guide. SSDT-6.aml.zip
  4. There's something odd with this file, it can't find the address 0x00020000 to patch for HD 4600. Can you upload the whole dump folder Origin from Clover?
  5. Yes, go ahead and upload it. Compress it first.
  6. VoodooPS2Controller should be in /EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.10. Without it, you won't have keyboard and mouse capability. To control brightness, use Fn+F3 = dim Fn+Insert = Bright Your Bluetooth should be working with a firmware uploader here. Try version 2.8.5. Install to /S/L/E
  7. Install these from 10.10 to /System/Library/Extensions with kextwizard AppleHDA_ALC292 DisableTurboBoostBattery FakePCIID_HD4600_HD4400 FakePCIID IOAHCISerialATAPI_Injector Install this to /S/L/E to fix audio after sleep issue Replace the Config with attached and add the DSDT.aml to ACPI/Patched For SSDT, use ssdtprGen.sh found in my Yosemite Guide. E7x40.zip
  8. Use the DSDT included in my previous posts. For SSDT, you can try FireWolf's unofficial ssdtprGen.sh for Broadcom CPUs.
  9. SSDT is for i7-5600U, so you'll have to generate your own. NewWay fix has been know to KP on some of my Latitude system, but not for this model.
  10. Shouldn't be an issue getting Yosemite on it. Without full specs, don't know if wireless will need to be replaced. GT 540M won't be supported, but HD 3000 will have full support.
  11. That's correct. Don't change anything on your EFI folder, except moving your kexts from 10.9 to 10.10 or Other
  12. You can install over your current system since you're using Clover. You can download the Yosemite app through AppStore. Follow the same Clover guide as the Mavericks.
  13. Your installer is corrupted or issue with your USB. Try booting from the USB 2.0 port.
  14. Are you following the Chameleon or Clover guides? What type of issue are you encountering? Please list errors, boot with -v to see where it hangs.
  15. Make sure you have HFSPlus-64.efi in driver64UEFI folder
  16. try bootpack and update files here. Patched DSDT included.
  17. I'm now using 0x16260006 which enables HDMI video. Here's my new file HD5500.zip works well, but no HDMI audio HDMI_Audio.zip has HDMI audio but loses mouse after sleep. I still haven't figure out the fix for that yet. Only difference between the 2 DSDTs are renaming B0D3 to HDAU to allow HDMI audio and renaming GFX0 to IGPU. Those 2 changes causes KP with the HD5500 config file. With the config and DSDT changes in HDMI_Audio, sleep is not working properly and loses mouse. I'm using ApplePS2Controller for mouse and not voodoops2controller, it works but no trackstick scrolling. Hope you or anyone with this model to give my files a try and help make it better. I have limited time to test these days. HD5500.zip HDMI_Audio.zip ApplePS2Controller.kext.zip
  18. Did you update the files to 10.10.4 from the update link? Also remove GenericUSBXHCI if you still have it.
  19. No, when you install Clover to the HDD, make sure to customize and select Install for UEFI booting Only
  20. Remove the FB patch from your Config now that you have DVMT set in the BIOS.
  21. 1 step forward and another step back. Finally able to get HDMI Video/Audio working, but only to lose the mouse after sleep. External USB mouse would still work, but need to figure out why PS2 mouse stopped responding. Updating DVMT is all that's needed to get the hack going, I don't see a need to unlock anything else.
