  1. Hope the author don't mind, I uploaded the files and update the thread with Nvidia Only.
  2. Confirmed not loading for Mavericks. I'm pretty sure it won't for Mountain Lion also.
  3. See here for a list of supported cards. Broadcom BCM4352 802.11 ac wifi and bluetooth combo card might be your best bet. Webcam, if it's not working natively, you could try macam.app
  4. @paddy111padam I don't have this hardware but there's guide here to check. Or wait for other members here to chime in with their response. @conedmiro When you boot to Clover menu, hit spacebar and select verbose mode. See what's causing the hang.
  5. Thank you for your support so far. I think 2x faster should be enough, it's near Windows speed. I'll do a new Mavericks install with Clover and see if it makes a difference. I've been running Mountain Lion and Mavericks with myHack. Will report back tomorrow. If it works with Mavericks, then I'll try rebuilding Mountain Lion too.
  6. Synaptics is the manufacturer. Installing ACPIBatteryManager won't break your system, worst it can happen is no battery status.
  7. Googling your model shows up with Synaptics. You could try rehab man's latest version or Dinesh's version. Try ACPIBatteryManager.kext for Battery, although you might have patch DSDT.
  8. which keys are you using to adjust the brightness? try Fn+F3 and Fn+Insert If you have Synaptics, you could try rehab man's latest version or Dinesh's version.
  9. Do you know what touchpad it has on that system? Synaptics, Alps, or Elan to name a few. No need to install the above kexts, just put them in /Clover/Kexts/10.10 or Other will work. I've updated your files. Restore the vanilla AppleHDA, remove VoodooHDA and AppleHDADisabler. Remove GenericUSBXHCI too, restore it later if USB3.0 is not working without it. Install the attached kexts and this to /System/Library/Extensions with kextwizard. Replace the DSDT, SSDT-1 and Config file. Update us if there's any improvement. Inspiron15.zip
  10. Upload your EFI folder and list kexts you have installed to /System/Library/Extensions # 4 and 5, won't work if you have an Intel Combo card. It'll need to be replace
  11. R3RC4 version test V3 id E7=0x73 0x02 0x64, EC=0x88 0x07 0x9d (E6x20 models) V3 id E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0x08 0x1d (E6430/E6230/Exx30) V3 id E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0x08 0x22 (E7440/E7240/Precision M6800) Best version by far, supports every models listed above, tested on Yosemite and El Capitan beta. - Had to maximized tracking speed for trackstick to work well. - Touchpad scrolling works best with Middle and Ring fingers. - Right click with 2 finger tab - works fine - Tab and drag works fine - Scrolling with Trackstick and Touchpad works correctly (direction wise) - Side scroll works good Unable to get it to load on Mavericks and Mountain Lion. I need others to confirm as well, but so far I'm unable to get them to work on the same models. Others with Alps touchpad but with different ID should chime in here too.
  12. I haven't gotten this issue for my E6530 with Optimus running on Yosemite or Mavericks. Perhaps you could try the legacy kext Patched_10.7_AppleRTC.kext needed on older OS X like Mountain Lion.
  13. Not exactly sure where you got your bootpack. If you followed Hervé's guide, his /Extra folder does not include /Extra/Extensions/SLE, but is in my guide. He also mentioned patched AppleHDA and VoodooHDA, so if you had AppleHDADisabler in /S/L/E, obviously AppleHDA won't load. You also mentioned audio ID = 0. Both Hervé and my DSDT have audio id = 12 (hex = 0C). So uncertain where you obtained your DSDT. You can easily change it in your DSDT under HDEF/_DSM. When you upgrade from Mavericks, were you using myHack for the build? If so, go to /S/L/E and delete myHack.kext. Repair permission and repair cache. Hopefully after going through all the above you should have audio working.
  14. So, should I take the kexts from the Extra/SLE folder and drag them to /S/L/E and then rebuild kext cache using the Terminal commands in your guide? It's /Extra/Extensions/SLE. Leave the file in /Extra/Extensions as is. Install /Extra/Extensions/SLE to /S/L/E and run the terminal command sudo chmod -R 755 /S*/L*/E* sudo chown -R 0:0 /S*/L*/E* sudo touch /S*/L*/E* sudo kextcache -Boot -U / Should I leave the Extra/SLE folder where it is? With the kexts in it? Or should I remove it afterwards? Do I put the kexts from Extra/SLE into Extra? Yes, leave the kexts in /Extra/Extensions/SLE there, it won't be read anyway.
  15. You can find the latest versions of the files here. See 10.10.5 update. Install to /System/Library/Extensions with kextwizard.app.
  16. Boot to Clover gui, hit space bar to get a list of boot options. Select verbose mode and hit enter. Here you will be able to see what's the cause of your hanging. You could try no cache mode also.
  17. R3RC3 Tested on (E7440/E7240) - V3 id E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0x08 0x22 - Keyboard/Touchpad/Trackstick all works - Trackstick speed is really slow, speeding preference have no effect ( I guess because it's hard coded) - Trackstick vertical scroll is reversed, horizontal is fine. - Trackstick single and double clicking works perfectly - Touchpad 2 finger scroll works great if using ring and middle fingers. Index and middle fingers work ok if a gap is between - side scrolling - a little improvement, but still need to flattening finger to scroll as oppose to just the finger tip
  18. Follow this guide to create the Yosemite installer. Use your /Extra folder from the Mavericks system. You'll need to add "kext-dev-mode=1" to org.chameleon.boot.plist

    Lenovo T410

If you don't have the Nvidia card and only the 1st Generation HD graphics, you can try my guide for T410s. Warning: Don't use the whitelist BIOS mod link from my guide, it's for T410s only. There's a T410 mod for whitelist here. Use at your own risk. Install Whitelisted BIOS for installing a supported WIFI card. (Skip this step if you don't want to use WIFI) Install original BIOS from the "Original Bios" folder. Install moded BIOS from the "Moded Bios" folder. Run WinPhlash32/64 (Depending on your system) Hit the Browse button at the "Specify BIOS" Section and open up the 01BF000_WL.ROM file After that hit advanced settings and make the settings look like this : [ ] Verify BIOS part number [ ] Flash only if BIOS version is different [ ] Flash only if BIOS version is newer [ ] Verify BIOS image size [ ] Verify BIOS checksum [ ] Zero block before erasing [x] Verify block after programming [x] Disable Axx swaping automatic detection (if present) [ ] Clear CMOS Checksum Go to the DMI tab and select "Update the BIOS and not the DMI" Close the Window and press "FLASH BIOS"
  20. You're missing the config.plist file from Clover folder and DSDT if you're using the OP's bootpack
  21. Exx20 - V3 id E7=0x73 0x02 0x64, EC=0x88 0x07 0x9d. I believe it's the same version as yours. - This version doesn't support Exx30 - Works really well except the trackstick speed is a bit fast when trying to select a target. It always over shot. Take a little effort to click on the target. Touchpad is fine. Exx30 - V3 id E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0x08 0x1d (E6430/E6230/Exx30) AND V3 id E7=0x73 0x03 0x0a, EC=0x88 0x08 0x22 (E7440/E7240) - Does not support Exx20 models - can't remember the reason - Flaw - It double clicks when it should single click for trackstick and touchpad. Your version so far supports both versions. Will test your new version and report back.
  22. Do you have HFSPlus.efi in drivers64UEFI of Clover? Upload your EFI folder if you run into more issue.
  23. Boot to the USB again, when you get to the Clover's menu, hit the space bar. Select verbose mode and enter. This will show you where the hangup is. For the BIOS settings, make sure to "Load Defaults", apply and then set SATA Operations to AHCI. Save and exit.
