  1. Your post above saids i5-3230M. In that case, use the SSDT from my guide right after IMPORTANT. Check to see if sleep works too.
  2. Try this SSDT. Enjoy you new hack! SSDT.aml.zip
  3. Might have the same issue as this guy here.
  4. You're missing AppleHDADisabler. AppleHDADisabler.kext.zip
  5. Do you have 2 wireless card? are they working OTB? Try these kexts for lan and audio M6500.zip. Place them in E/E and run myfix(quick).
  6. From terminal, run lspci -nn and paste the specs here. I believe it has a broadcom lan card.
  7. In that case, you should follow this guide and bootpack. Just don't use the ssdt.
  8. Do you have Discrete card nvidia nvs5200m or only HD4000 graphics?
  9. Remove VoodooPS2Controller.kext,VoodooPS2Keyboard.kext, and VoodooPS2Mouse.kext and install voodooPS2controller.kext to E/E from this.
  10. telanx, I assume this is for the Dell Exx20 models with IDT 92HD90BXX(111d76e7)? I've upgraded to 10.9.1 and your older version 2.5.2 still works. Will try this and let you know. Thanks. Update: Tested on E6420, internal speaker and headphone works. Headphone is much louder now, big improvement from v2.5.2. Only thing is I lost microphone. No input device.
  11. What OSX are you trying to install? You'll need a patched kernel for the Haswell processor. What video does it have? Intel HD 4600 or Nvidia?
  12. VoodooPS2Controller might not be loaded. Did you place it in EE, remove ApplePS2Controller, and run myfix?
  13. Hi Rob, It's still work-in-progress. I got it to boot with QE/CI. Still missing speedstep, audio (using voodoohda for now but headphone and mic are not working), and sleep. Wanted to get a working DSDT/SSDT and AppleHDA before posting a guide. How far have you gotten so far?
  14. what error are you getting if you boot without the usb installer?
  15. Are you using the bootpack I provided in post 2? There's no org.chameleon.boot.plist in SLE, but in Extra, is that what you mean? If you're building with myHack Method, don't use another kext wizard. Just place the files in Extra/extension and run myHack/myfix (quick). Assuming you're running Mavericks, download this file (touchpad and LAN) to E/E, run myfix. touchpad&lan.zip
  16. You don't need to reimage every time. Just boot with the Installer, select myHack, Install Extra, and point it to the Extra folder in your boot stick. That will bring you back to your original build. As for appleintelCPUpowermanagement, it looks like it's not loading the version from myHack. It'll show version 1111 as Bronxteck stated. Try my patched version 216.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext.zip Place it in E/E, run myHack/myfix (quick).
  17. If you're following the myHack Method, you should just replace your entire Extra folder with Extra2.zip. Run myHack/myfix (full). Full because you're having caching issue. Reboot. You should not have to touch SLE at all.
  18. What resolution is your system? If different than 1440x900, you can't use the included IntelHDGraphicsFB.kext. I just looked at the bootpack and noticed /Extra/DSDT-x201b.aml instead of /Extra/DSDT.aml in org.chameleon.Boot.plist. I'll update it. You should change it and see if it helps too.
  19. Sorry, I misread your model. Do you have QE/CI working with your current setup? Do you have a working DSDT? For touchpad, try the rehabmanMerge version touchpad version here. What other issue are you having?
  20. There's already a bootpack for the Z580 in the compatibility list but with HD4000 graphics. Can you confirm your Nvidia card is working fully with QE/CI? If not, can it be disable in BIOS and use HD4000. What vendor is your touchpad? Alps, ElanTouchpad, or synaptics?
  21. No, just boot with IntelCapriFB=3. If that doesn't work, try the next number.
  22. Try Bronxteck's bootpack above. Works like a charm, sleeps too! Bronxteck, I finally had a chance to test your DSDT, works nicely. Only problem I notice is the audio doesn't automatically switch over to headphone when it's plugged in or vice versa. I'll test it some more and make some changes.
