  2. Hey mate, Welcome back and nice find. I'll consider to add a kext patch package to EDP3 that contains the two kexts above and AppleACPIPlatform.kext from 10.6.7 (this fixes so that coolbook works on Lion) Btw.. if you want a recap or test EDP 3, then catch me on skype
  3. ok, i'v updated the wiki.. Thanx for letting us know
  4. cool, short questions.. was there any diffrences on the commands used under 10.10 than on the onces documented on the wiki ?
  5. In terms.. you should be able to delete un-used kexts.. BUT.. i would not do it. 1. OSX only actually loads the onces that you need 2. They take so little space that it makes no sence 3. There is a BIG risk that you break your installation because many kexts require other kexts from sle (chain loading etc.) Overall.. dont mess around in sle
  6. You might want to check out crackwalk... http://www.crackwalk.se/
  7. Hi, We would need to get more info to help you.. are you in OSX Right now ? If yes, go over to http://team.osxlatitude.com/tools/ - download Hardware info (there is one for both SL and Lion) Run the application and make an image (you can use GRAB wich comes with OSX) and post it here. This will show us what kind of hardware you have...

  12. Are you using nullcpmanagement.kext and emulated speedstep ?
  13. Is it a erricson (that would identify as a dell) or is it a Sierra card.. if its a sierra card, then use the catcher program from the wiki
  14. 1. Use the sleep guide on the wiki 2. Use the remap guide ont he wiki
  15. Indeed it is, i was just giving you a friendly advice, since i noticed that not no one had answered What you can do is: * Try and locate the kext(s) that worked with it before and use them again, sometimes 10.5 kexts works fine under 10.6 * Replace the cam with one that is known to work * Check any of the wind forums, see if anyone else have an solution... Personally. .i would go with no. 1 or 2 first

  17. Hey Everyone, We need your help to make next generation EDP even better. One of the new things is that we are including a new feature called "Best Build Model Schematic (BBMS)", wich is a set of pre-defined options for the specific model .eg, does this model use nullcpu, sleepenabler and what PS2 kext is pack best to use. We need your help map the different models we support. This should only take a few mins of your time - and in return, the next EDP will be so much better Please copy/paste the questions below and past your response: a. Model (eg. D630-nvidia) : b. Do you use nullcpu (yes/no) ? : c. Do you use sleepenabler (yes/no) ? : d. What of the 4 provided PS2 packs do you use (1,2,3,4 or other) ?: e. Do you use emulated speedstep ? (yes/no): f. Do you use voodooTSC to sync your cores ? (yes/no) : g. Do you use AppleHDADisabler ? : h. Are you stuck/forced to use a specific version of chameleon ? : i. Do you use a custom kernel ? NOTES: 1. Do _NOT_ create a new topic, just reply to this one 2. This is NOT a support thread - dont ask for help here 3. This is NOT a discussion thread, we got plenty of forums and topics for that : Thanx for helping out

  19. Hi, Two things to look our for. Please boot a Linux live CD to check if your LAN is actually working correctly - overheating can in some cases cause the LAN port to render dead or unstable. Secondly, make sure that you are running the latest bios update from dell or us. Please report back
