  1. I use KeyRemap4MacBook and it works perfectly. The key is you have to identify the name of the keys to map, and create correct private.xml To identify which code your keys are producing, use EventViewer in KeyRemap4MacBook. Then set correct options in private.xml. It's a bit tricky, need to read documentation at its homepage.
  2. Hi everyone, thank you for your warm welcome. Hope I can be helpful to our forum.
  3. HD4000 does not use AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB and VGA will never work with 10.9, you can use HDMI-to-VGA adapter though. Here are Clover patches for HD4000: Patch HDMI audio port HD4000 1366x768 Name: AppleIntelFramebufferCapri Find: 040600000004000081000000 Replace: 040600000008000006000000 Patch HDMI-DP port HD4000 1600x900+ Name: AppleIntelFramebufferCapri Find: 040066010103010100000002 Replace: 040066010102040200000004 Find: 300200000000000001000000400000000000000001000000400000000000000001000000400000000000000000000000 Replace: 300200000205000000040000070400000304000000040000810000000406000000080000060000000000000000020011

  6. Here is the complete guide, include Windows dual boot: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/6372-guide-dell-latitude-5x30-clover-install-guide/
  7. Here is the guide I thought applicable to all E7x40 series: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/6461-guide-e7440-with-clover/
  8. 0x1E3A8086 is IMEI device id in 7-series motherboard. The problem may happen if you use HD3000 on 7-series motherboard (or reverse). You can fix it by dsdt instead of editing the kexts after each update.
  9. I installed your kext and wifi is not detected, There is no entry of 14e4,4315 (BCM4312) in 10.7.3 kexts. I have to install this http://www.osx86.net/files/file/549-bcm4312-wifi-fully-working-10-8-2/?st=10 and airportd from your package. It works now.
  10. No problem, if that file prevents you from running iasl, just delete that file. Not all of ssdt are useful, especially duplicate ssdt. Just find which is the last file that causes error (in your case, it's SSDT-1.aml or SSDT-3x.aml) delete it and continue my guide. Your dsdt is very like 3x37 series, so you can follow all the steps in my guide to patch dsdt and ssdt (to disable your nVidia/AMD).
  11. Change SATA mode in BIOS from RAID to AHCI.
  12. Try my guide: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/6092-latitude-e7440/page-2&do=findComment&comment=36589
  13. I updated my tool with piker's new scipt, it won't fail with your cpu anymore. I'm not certain why us does not show up now. You can try Chameleon instead https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/6092-latitude-e7440/page-2&do=findComment&comment=36414 Wifi and bluetooth won't work until you replace card.
  14. Assume you're using latest Chameleon, boot with SkipNvidiaGFX=Yes or GraphicsEnabler=No If it can't boot, check your PM.
  15. After you use my dsdt, does it still says that it uses DSDT-2CH.aml?
  16. No, you open dsdt.dsl with MacIASL, then click Patch button, then paste the patch in Patch windows > Apply.
  17. Last one... Remove both ssdt-1.aml and ssdt-2.aml dsdt.aml.zip
  18. Ok, delete all *.dsl in dsdt, then run iasl -da *.aml, and apply the new patch I just edit.
  19. Delete the dsdt folder on desktop, repeat the 14 steps ( i just edit the guide) and see if you still have that error. Or you can upload your dsdt.dsl here.
