  1. Change hibernate mode to 0 (via EDP fixes or command line) and delete the sleep image if one exists (/var/vm/sleepimage if I recall correctly).
  2. I'd re-download a fresh copy of the EDP package. When running it, if prompted to choose your type of installation, choose the full install, not the update. Then do a new system build in EDP.
  3. Did you do your ML installation with myHack + bootpack + EDP? Could you share your DSDT table?
  4. Cloning will work, yes, that's not a problem. Ask Leon, he does it all the time! There is no known issue doing the installation with myHack as long as you follow our documented process: myHack + OSXL bootpack for basic/initial installation, then EDP to complete/finalise the installation. If you've encountered a problem installing your own Extra, then I guess there was a problem with your own folder or you did not point to the right place. In any case, if you've installed the bootpack, all you need to do is point to /Extra of the USB installer. Noone should really go wrong there...
  5. You must be the 1st person to report a working DVI port on a D6x0 docking station. Can you tell us more please (model of dock, method to get it to work, etc.)?
  6. I did, but it was not great! First and foremost, it'll only run with a legacy kernel because your Pentium M does not support SSE3 and booting with the SL Mach kernel will result in quick KP. You'll also need to patch the GMA950 kext to get full QE/CI with the onboard GMA900, if that's what you have in terms of graphics. Have a look at my Inspiron 6000 research thread, the specs are probably a bit similar to the D610: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1955-dell-inspiron-6000/ I did get SL 10.6.8 in it, but eventually abandoned because it was not running great (really bad graphics). Hopefully the D610 will be a bit different, but don't hold too much hope if it's using PATA/IDE HDD as you may find it difficult, not to say impossible to install SL on the HDD... Try and give us the full specs of your D610. There are 2 methods you could try: MyHack or Nawcom ModCD/ModUSB, the former being more flexible.
  7. Under Snow Leopard, absolutely! Under Lion, only full resolution change at the moment (my research with RadeonHD method is far from finished yet). Under Mountain Lion, there appears to be no support for ATI X1000 family, so ATI X1300 is not compatible as far as I know. For additional info, look here: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2032-dell-vostro-200/ Bear in mind my ATI X1300/X1550 is dev id 0x7183.
  8. Ok, so you basically have no audio kext, hence no audio at all... We've fixed the DSDT tables for the D830s in EDP tonight, so doing system build should no longer cause black screen at startup. Any chance you could update EDP and try to do a system build again? Which audio pack do you see offered in the menu? If, after the EDP system rebuild, you still have no audio, try one of the audio packs below, preferably starting with VoodooHDA, then if that does not work, use the patched STAC9205. voodooHDA.zip STAC9205-D830.zip
  9. Can you try a fresh download + install of EDP again please? We identified an issue with EDP 5.1 and SL last night and Leon fixed it today. I've verified it tonight and it works well now for SL. By the way, are you installing SL on a D430 or D620?
  10. The issue of black screen after EDP System Build should now be fixed (verified on D830 nVidia earlier on). Could you download and install a fresh copy or do an update? Then proceed with a new system build. I believe you have the right kexts in /E/E, although I was not expecting the AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer kext... Have you tried to run without this kext in /E/E?
  11. Little up: with Chameleon v2.2 r2170 and above, steps 1a->1c are no longer required. The ATI X1300 card is supported again by standard branch.
  12. Ok, we'll have a look. Ideally, your SMBIOS profile should be that of the MacBook 3,1. That matches the D630/D830 hardware best. Use Chameleon Wizard to select.
  13. Am I right to assume that you have a D630 with nVidia GPU (X3100 not being supported in 64bit mode)? Which BIOS version are your using and are your settings matching those published in the pinned thread? Could you open up a Terminal window and type 'pmset -g' and check the hibernate mode value (ideally, should be 0). You'll see that I'm running ML on my D630 nVidia, not Lion, so that's 64bit only and I have no problems with Sleep/Wake. I'll try to set it up with Lion on an external HDD to check, but I expect everything to work in 64bit kernel mode under Lion too. Was your D630 Lion installation done with our recommended myHack + EDP method?
  14. The CPUs aren't swappable either. FSB667 on the D620 vs. FSB800 on the D630. Apart from that, the rest of the HW is interchangeable (RAM, HDD, Wireless, WWAN, CD/DVD drives, LCD, keyboard, etc.). You did not say which D620 model you have, but if the motherboard is dying due to nVidia chip starting to fail, that can be fixed through the oven-baking method (there's a post about it on the forum).
  15. I assume you installed with the bootpack, right? What kexts do you have in /Extra/Extensions, if anything at all? What parameters do you have in your Chameleon boot plist? What SMBIOS profile do you use? Is there a particular reason why you would not complete your setup with EDP?
  16. What's a DT781 mobo ??? RAM support is more a matter of chipset capabilities and all D630 are based on Intel GM965 as far as I know -> 8Go RAM max.
  17. The bootpack provides all that's required for that (the DSDT table + Chameleon boot plist with EFI string). So, unless you did something wrong with bootpack at installation, that should work without any resolutions problems on the D620 nVidia.
  18. As mentioned several times before, the DVI port remains unsupported.
  19. I can't remember which works best: VoodooHDA or patched Stac9205 kext, but I guess it'll be missing from /E/E. Try and copy back from the bootpack and re-apply myFix (full)
  20. Multi-CPU computers are usually based on matching processors. That's what manufacturers always recommend. I would not expect the computer to work at all or work properly otherwise.
  21. module NVRAM.dylb removed from /Extra/modules?
  22. Mmm, with recent release of EDP 5.1, that documentation needs to be updated as it's a little behind now... I'm having trouble understanding what you are doing, can you list your steps? What you ought to do: 1) Prepare your USB installer with myHack 3.1.2 + Retail Snow Leopard (10.6.0 or 10.6.3 or 10.6.8) 2) download appropriate bootpack (make sure to choose the correct one for your D620) and copy it to USB installer using myHack -> Create Extra -> my own 3) install SL and reboot 4) after reboot, download and install EDP software, then run it to do your system build That should be it.
  23. Mmm, looks like Chameleon is corrupted. Could you boot via USB key then download a recent Chameleon package (I think v2.1 r2069 is readily available) and re-install Chameleon?
  24. Look for boot file 2170 (I've posted it a couple of times of the D8xx and D6xx forum) and try to boot with it.
  25. Ok, then DSDT is not missing for sure.
