  2. sorry no not on the d620 gma. if you want sleep it needs a password check the tweak section in the menu bar for instructions while you in the bios tell it to bypass wake password.

  8. the graphics card sounds like the reason why he is running 32 bit.
  9. what methode have you used to get to this point? could be allot of things which cause this error. ahci in bios could be off, or you need to add the flag npci=0x2000 to the boot options, use a different usb port maybe the rear ones next to the com ports. or you will need to install a patched IOPCIFamily.kext also PciRoot=1 might be needed or a combination of all methods.
  10. well if you want you can just clone your osx partition onto another partition and test there. with edp3
  11. there is an app called prop edit that gives you a simple way of setting permissions of files. but edp needs internet access
  12. appleacpiplatform.kext should be in the edp bootpack for your model, just download the bootpack and use my fix that should get you installing also you can click on the links on the top menu of this site for more info

    did you manually replace something inside edp? that can cause this issue... svn tracks it's contents

  17. you need to remove arch=i386 out of the Boot.plist and might need to boot with npci=0x2000
  18. wow that sounds kind of long... check to see if there is a firmware update for your sad
  19. you might have to first install the windows 7 dell driver in windows to initialize it, it loads up a firmware flash then it's usable in osx
  20. DELL 350 and 360 bluetooth adapters work OTB the 360 is much better than the 350 but i have heard of other models also working with modified bluetooth kexts
  21. what revision of snow are you at? also try repairing disk permissions

  23. i know this might sound dumb or weird but did you hit the spacebar when you where in the chameleon loader so you can select between installed os's? usually when installing linux distro you have to install grub to the same partition that you install linux on. then chameleon does not get affected, not that grub is bad or anything.
  24. try swapping the antenna positions on the wifi cards, it should be a black wire and a white wire also maybe there not seated fully on the wifi antenna connectors
