    well i guess for the usb one see if the manufacturer has a osx installer? and as for the laptop if it's centrino then your wifi is intel and not supported in that case you need to buy one that works in osx. like a broadcom card

    well if you ever decide that the d630 will be your main machine and still have the d620 high-res screen, the lids/screens are interchangeable but you need to also swap the ribbon. cheers.

    correct you add a theme folder to your Extra directory and enable themes in your Boot.Plist

    actually you can set in bios not to need the password for sleep... so you will only need the password during a boot or restart

    if you already have the kexts you need in extra run myfix not edp... you also might have to remove a kext in S/L/E named 0EDP.kext

    d430 will not run graphics correctly in 64 bit...

    yeah dp1 still loaded 32bit kernel... dp2 and up do not.

    ok so the flags worked for you good... now do you have intel wifi? if you do it tends to lock up boot... shut it off in bios or remove it if it's intel for install.

    it looks like your having issues with intelcpumonitor.kext and fakesmc.... run myfix maybe it will help

    run the myfix app after transferring the extra in 3.1

    you can try the generic myhack 3.1 extra with the flags npci=0x2000 cpus=1 if you use the new chameleon in 3.1 i believe it detects pciroot if not also add pciroot=1.... EDP and myhack will be integrated shortly...

    sounds like the gma x3100 glitch...

    core solo or core duo 32 bit can not run lion os... so the cpu is a determining factor... core 2 duo and up are good to go though.

    did you do the /mount/sbin/ -uw / like -s mode states

    ok so then the bootpack from our wiki should suffice replace the files in the extra directory on the usb stick overwrite the ones there

    well there are 4 different d630 models actually there are more... which one do you have there are gma crestline video, then nvidia, then each has a high and low res counterpart.

    you probably need nullcpu.kext and might need to shut off speedstep in bios. untill you can extract your dsdt. also try the newest chameleon you can get thats based off trunk.

    well it's probably has d430 dsdt file replace it with the one for your model

    well try booting the first pen drive if you havent formatted it by now with UseKernelCache=no -v -f cpus=1 and see if you can install.

    if you can boot with -v -s then you can use terminal if you know how to. worst case scenario you have to reinstall osx on top of the old one it should save your files

    it should work, but after installing and building edp for your model run my fix app on the same volume you just built edp on

    try using my hack 3.1 with generic kexts and see if that gets you further it will be an option during a my hack build.... you might have to boot with -v cpus=1 at the chameleon prompt
