  1. so running edp after the install did not help with audio? usually does but i think the device ids for audio are different in your model.
  2. http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chameleon/issues/129/
  3. you might have to edit voodoohda.kexts plist and replace the audio device id's with yours.
  4. are you using edp... i wonder what the heck is up with that machine... lol
  5. if your using the latest chame com.apple.boot.plist should be renamed to org.chameleon.Boot.plist
  6. well it seems chameleon can not handel 4k offsets... chameleon problem 129... i got around it by installing it to efi partition but its a pain sometimes as lion wants to "fix" my efi partition if i do a disk repair on the root disk. the simplest methode i found was to use chameleon wizard and activate efi support in it's preferences. then once activated mount it to check version then format to hfs from the efi menu then install to it bye selecting the efi partition... your theme has to be there too in efi partition or it will be in verbose so you have to mont it go to finder and drop in the theme folder, and modules folder and make sure the boot file is in there in the efi root... in the wizards preferances un check hide boot file.
  7. usually running edp again after osx is up and running cures the issue
  8. looks like it might be case sensitive.... PCIRoot=1

  14. ok so here is the outcome of our endeavor... it will not boot with a 2 gig memory module. no bios post
  15. you need a good smbios.plist with board id
  16. hmm i think i made i typo in my sig.... i only have 2 gigs on the d430 but 4 on the d620..... i guess i could swap out memory when i have a spare moment.
  17. actually it seems the whole osx thing is getting stale... it's like every update breaks something else which in turn needs another update to break it more... truthfully it's boring the s#!7 out of me. it almost makes me miss win 7 which that "just works"
  18. well every lion install comes free with a nice toaster oven feature that's great for these long winter days...
  19. apple updates are notorious for messing with permissions... you would think they would fix them during the updates.... but it seems they don't. ah and welcome to the forum!
