  1. just be carful of selecting mirror mode it will corrupt your secondary video output
  2. hey Paranoid, netkas.org has the chameleon sources for lion you were looking for but it only works for lion not snow
  3. yes i have that in my config file.. but it still will not take all the drivers only tscsync and fakesmc load. even trying to load the rest with kext helper it still won't load and I have to boot with -x so I need to repair permissions on the partition.
  4. Fun while it lasted... Oh well time to re install... lol
  5. ok how bout the simple things like making sure wifi switch is on and that wifi is turned on in bios?
  6. I can confirm fabio78's results works well on d620. using -v -f cpus=2 (or cpus=1) arch=i386. (sometimes if she will not find the catch then replace -f for -x then back after next boot) no: battery meter, wifi, sleep, or trackpad /keyboard... yet and restart needs "fix" but iboot (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) does not accommodate it like chameleon
  7. cpus=1 works too to resolve tscsync issue
  8. it would be alot easier if you go to the top of the page and click on osx wiki link. all the info is there about edp
  9. yeah that sounds about right...
  10. Erick... have you ruled out the simple stuff like making sure you are using newest EDP and chameleon? or different EDP configs... Also how long do you leave it on before it happens?
  11. No problem Ray glad it's finally working.... weird though maybe it rebuilt the cache..
  12. crc... I was thinking are you shure that you need 5v not 3.3v?
  13. go to Extra/Models/D620-nvidia/Extensions and see if VoodooHDA.kext is in that folder... if not then copy and paste the one from D620-Intel folder to the file path above into the folder and run EDPTool.command again... In 1.5 Your models audio might have accidentally got left out..
  14. well there's a 3'rd way to install using d620slv1.iso to boot and install osx http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=178411 imidiately after osx is installed stop using his guide and follow our guide... his methodes are 2 years old and ment for 10.6.0 our package has newest kext files for 10.6.6 compatability also don't forget about installing chameleon 2 rc5 rev 665 or higher
  15. is that one of your backups that had voodoohda in s/l/e... it's worth a look
  16. did you try sleep fix in edptool fix menu?
  17. yep tried and it works but sometimes slight delay when typing.. why the trackpad affects keyboard? edit: must have been a bad catch...
  18. nice to hear that worked.. but those dsdt's in the collection page are unmodified system bios dumps.. the edp packages have the correct modified dsdt.aml files those are the one's to use.
  19. good question i never tried the external jacks, just internal mic and speakers
  20. slice do you need a nub to make this work and if so can you post it.. thanks in advance.
  21. did you install the latest edp from osx wiki? it's up to 1.5
  22. Well it's up to you... but rc5 and edp have there advantages
