  1. nice to hear that worked.. but those dsdt's in the collection page are unmodified system bios dumps.. the edp packages have the correct modified dsdt.aml files those are the one's to use.
  2. good question i never tried the external jacks, just internal mic and speakers
  3. slice do you need a nub to make this work and if so can you post it.. thanks in advance.
  4. did you install the latest edp from osx wiki? it's up to 1.5
  5. Well it's up to you... but rc5 and edp have there advantages
  6. It seems you have put kexts in S/l/E in the past. Remove any voodoo or other audio kexts that you have installed to that directory. then run edptool again for your build EDP tool script will put it in e/e (Extra/Extensions)... NOT s/l/e (/system/library/extensions) The fastest way for us to trouble shoot problems is if you use our methods and tools on a fresh install.. It rules out alot of previous install issues

    D430

probably wrong dsdt in extra.. change it for the d430 or boot with leppy disc then rerun edptool
  8. what version of edp did you use?
  9. one of the outside usb pins should give you +5v and the other outside should be -gnd, feed from that internally check with a multi meter you can also check the lcd ballast board for +5v on the input side. NOT THE HV side (pink/white) wires with white connector
  10. Slice the driver keeps looking for hid default parameters value for alps... any idea why that is. maybe thats whats missing is the main parameter that is used for ref? then + or - value from there. 11. damn noticed this in kernel log WARNING - LPC device initialization failed: C-state power management not initialized so do you think that dsdt still missing something mariusz?
  12. this is the trackpad from post 4 with windows config file in trackpad info plist... it feels a little smoother on scroll but it could just be wishful thinking.. if any one cares to try it out.. well at least if that version worked for you before here it is. let me know if you notice any differences. NOTE: might have to Turn off bluetooth to access apple trackpad prefpane no modified trackpad needed to turn on multitap for scrolling VoodooPS2Controller test.kext.zip

  14. will do when I get home update: added the parameters into a config file in the trackpad.plist.. but i don't notice much of a difference maybe have to play with variables? or a dead end.. Info.plist.zip d620with voodoo ps2config file loaded.ioreg.zip
  15. I wonder if i just throw that code list into trackpad plist what would happen?....
  16. reformat your hdd using osx diskutility. guide with journaling then reinstall. or try booting from d620slv1 disc and selecting your osx partition and see if it boots then delete /extra folder and try edp again you are better off with a new bootloader rev665 or higher

  18. Fn+z confirmed on D620 paused for 2 sec then started up running EDP powerpack
  19. did you follow the wiki for sleep?
  20. Ahh so thats what that's for... i've seen that in your bootloader files.. always wondered what it was used for.. once again thanks!
  21. cant you just integrate sudo kextutil -v /extra/extensions/I8kfan.kext into the gui since it needs password anyway to load.. i added it to logon items and it asks for password then it loads and is usable
  22. check osx wiki. everything you would ever want to know is there http://www.osxlatitude.com/groups/d4xosx/
