    i think the difference between hi and low res in the dsdt is high res has "dual-Link=1" enabled i think there is an option in clover under graphics menu for that. you can try swapping drives between machines.

    is it a bios lock or hdd lock. pull the drive out to determine. if it is drive lock then replace the drive. you can also try here https://bios-pw.orgif it gives you a code number after failed attempts input it there it might generate a password for you.

    i think there are a few threads here about similar issues on other EXX30 machines. it might be you need to try different ig-platform id's or you need to downgrade your bios to a certain bios then upgrade to another to fix the issue. i don't remember the process off hand.

    black screen means your graphics are not loading properly so the pm patch is most likely working. unless the whole screen is shutting off, if so try closing the lid and re opening it.

    what kext are you using for audio. if voodoohda you might need to edit the info.plist inside the kext. there are different options there.

    yeah i think you can swap alt in the keyboard preferences under modifier keys. the flickering can be the framebuffer kext might need patching or updating. for slowness maybe you can try generating a ssdt for your cpu with this https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh. the OP efi zip can be cleaned up a bit and probably updating. have you tried looking at other EX440 family models on this site? maybe some have overcome some of your issues. take a look at jakelo's signature he has a few models posted there.

    you might have to tape over a certain pin on the wifi card. i want to say pin 20 but i am not positive.

    so add nullcpu.kext to your installer to get you up and running. weird the asuspm did not resolve that for you.

    it only see's GUID formatted disks. also make sure bios SATA setting are set to AHCI.

    what kexts do you have in the Extra folder? you might need nullcpu kext also I'm not sure about atom cpu it might need a kernel for it.

    are you sure fakesmc.kext is loading?

    some hp models need voodootscsync.kext you can also post a screen shot of the -v output.

    it gives 3 folder options/ methods within that desktop folder for you to choose from. one is a patched apple HDA file that you can replaces the one in S/L/E with directly. second is a dummy HDA if you do not want to replace AppleHDA in S/L/E and the third are clover config patches you can apply to your clover config. but i think that might need DSDT patches for HDEF. each has it's benefits but results should be the same if used properly, from either of the 3 methods. just choose one do not mix.
