Dell Inspiron 3x37-5x37-7x37 Clover Installation
Bronxteck replied to greg2204's topic in The Archive
make sure you put the patched dsdt/ssdt files in clover/acpi/patched folder, also make sure that your clover config file has the name of your dsdt present. i believe default clover entry is DSDT.aml. -
on reboot you have to choose the installer volume at clover os choice menu that was generated after you ran the installer
-
did you add your kexts into your efi clover kexts 10.11 folder? also clover configurator version 4.24.0 has provisions for the CSR values under RT config
-
the downloaded app might be corrupted.
-
i do not recall if you are using nullcpu.kext that would break sleep. also did you try the sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 command. also remove the sleep image. it shows the path to it if you do a pmset -g then just sudo rm -rf /path showed by pmset -g
-
follow post 11 to get a copy of your acpi tables. ssdt will be part of them.

oh wait if your using clover, fakesmc uses clovers built in values. if you do not wish to use those values you have to remove the clover section in fakesmc plist <key>Clover</key><dict> <key>BEMB</key> <array> <string>BEMB</string> <string>flag</string> </array> <key>EPCI</key> <array> <string>EPCI</string> <string>ui32</string> </array> <key>RBr</key> <array> <string>RBr</string> <string>ch8*</string> </array> <key>REV</key> <array> <string>REV</string> <string>{rev</string> </array> <key>RPlt</key> <array> <string>RPlt</string> <string>ch8*</string> </array> </dict>

see if it will boot off the usb bootloader then try select your new install. you might have to install a boot loader to the HDD and also transfer your extra folder to the new install. after run a myfix -q -t / in terminal
-
is the sata mode set to AHCI in bios.
