  1. iFail is a distro we have no clue what it modifies.
  2. you also need to know what graphics your system has. check in bios info.
  3. what boot loader are you using. the problem is AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement which means it is power management related. there are many ways to correct the problem. one is using null cpu kext another is deleting said kext from S/L/E. then you have clover fixes like asuspm fix and pearl patches i believe rolling back to an older one is also an option for some but not for you since ivy bridge does not need that kext at all for it to function properly. ivy bridge uses -XCPM for ivy power manegment
  4. did you check if Photo Booth app see's it. i also have a similar issue.
  5. they have different file sizes so i would imagine they are different. maybe one you used the package installer and it installed to S/L/E. hwmonitor app usually has to be used with the version of fakesmc it came bundled with. so either make both the same or remove one. if you look inside the kext you might see the version numbers inside it's info.plist to compare them. remember to rebuild your caches if you add or remove kexts from S/L/E.
  6. http://sourceforge.net/projects/voodoohda/files/version 2.8.7 appears to be the newest one out. compare the info.plist inside your kext to the new one incase it has been modified to suit your audio setup and make the required changes before switching out the kext. rebuild the kernel catch after the swap.
  7. the wifi usb might matter yes. you can try removing it and see if the problem persists. as for audio i guess you can try a new version of the kext.
  8. you mean this? http://www.osxlatitude.com
  9. well it states there what your issues are. running a torrent , audio, and something on your usb.
  10. yes that sounds right if you want to check if the setting took you can type in pmset -g and it should list everything another command you try is pmset -g assertions assertions can also give issues with sleep the command would list what is giving issues to at least hopefully help you track down the culprit having wake from lan/ethernet set to on in bios can also cause hangs at sleep/shutdown.
  11. if i remember correctly on the older D series laptops the dell wireless 340-360 modules they had to first get flashed with the latest driver from dell in windows seven for them to operate. also i think they are only 1.0 or 2.0 BT chips as for booting with -f it sounds like a corrupt cache and or myHack.kext
  12. well that picture also says an attached harddrive is having issues. use disk utility to repair your discs.
  13. can you type in terminal app sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 and then retest
  14. there is no mach_kernel in yosemite the kernel is now located in System/Library/Kernels/kernel your chameleon might be out of date.
  15. look up your smbios machine here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201518and adjust your EFI Boot ROM version to match the new apple one
  16. well there are allot of things that happen in 3 hours that can affect things. 1 having the machine sleep and wake can cause issues with hardware being relocated to hpet 2 power management not properly initialized 3 usb power management / initialization issues 4 need DSDT shutdown fix. maybe a better description on your exact shutdown problem might help weed out something.
  17. since your using some one elses DSDT can you add the fix regions patch to clover or at least try it from clover boot options
  18. try booting in safe / verbose mode with whatever boot loader your using.
  19. at the clover boot menu select the osx volume press the spacebar and select boot without caches option.
  20. well according to the dump your elan trackpad kext is causing the issue when it unloads. have you tried booting without caches when you disable the trackpad?
  21. maybe try using one of the d620 boot packs we have here there might be some d820 ones on the forum as well.
  22. what are you using to install with. extra folders and dsdt wise.
  23. have you tried closing the lid and opening it when that happens
