Administrators Hervé Posted February 3, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 3, 2013 Yep, it works pretty well and the screen improved crispness is really nice under ML.
thefonz106
Everything is fantastic now! Thanks for this easy to follow guide, 1 Bug though, new wifi card is in the mail, but any idea on how to get ethernet working? It worked great until EDP, then it just says no ethernet card available. thanks fonz
Administrators Hervé Posted February 5, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2013 You need BCM5722D kext in /E/E. If EDP does not appear to install it (something we need to look into), get it from the bootpack, copy it to /E/E and re-run myFix (full).
thefonz106
man i feel like a child...... I haven't an idea to start with that, EDP, the guide, and myhack made it all so simple. Where would I be able to obtain such kext, and how would I go about installing it? Thanks for the quick reply. fonz

yuri624
actually I am just at the very same point at the moment. And even tho I feel quite ashamed asking... I have copied the BCM5722D.kext from the bootpack to my desktop for now. How/where do I copy it now? I understand that i have to copy it to /E/E, but I seem to be too much of an idiot to find it (at least in "Finder" I do not see anything but the favorites stuff... and devices aka my usb stick and external HDD.) Any idea how to help me fool out?
Administrators Bronxteck Posted February 8, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 8, 2013 you have to go into finder preferences and tell it to show all your volumes.
