  1. At the terminal run this log show | grep ALPS
  2. Boot with the USB installer, at the Clover GUI, select the Installed drive. Once you booted, install Clover v4051. Once installed, copy the following from the USB installer EFI to the Installed drive EFI partition. /EFI/Clover/Config.plist /EFI/Clover/ACPI /EFI/Clover/Themes /EFI/Clover/Kexts /EFI/Clover/Drivers64UEFI/HFSPlus.efi
  3. You need an older version of Ubuntu like 12.4. But I could 99% be sure you have eDP and not LVDS as does my E6410. Follow the section that pertains to eDP Users Only. Looks like you need to enable Patch VBIOS if you're using Clover or download resolution for Chameleon and then use these file depending on the version of Yosemite you're installing. This will give you partial acceleration http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/download/208-1st-gen-intel-hd-graphics-kexts/
  4. Set your BIOS to load default. Hit Apply, then set to UEFI and AHCI.
  5. Try setting it in Config.plist under GUI/Theme
  6. Run permission fix and rebuild cache should have fix that.
  7. Sleep should work without power adapter.
  8. Update to latest clover, then either install with combo update or App Store.
  9. Replace files with this for Sierra. You should use the latest Clover, older might cause issue with current 10.12.4.
  10. Try replace DSDT with this one, patched with your files. If your you're not using patched DSDT, how did you get audio, USB, sleep and sd card reader and other things to work? E6330_A11.zip
  11. Make sure the folder Latitude is in /EFI/Clover/Themes
  12. You can't just use an USB wireless device, it must be one that supports OS X. See link I provided above. As for battery status, makes sure ACPIBatteryManager.kext is loaded. Attach your Clover if necessary so we could verify all is there.
  13. Did you download it from somewhere? Or created your own? You can't select something that does not exist.
  14. If you're following my guide and using the bootpack from post#2 of the guide, you need to copy the kexts in /EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other/LE to /Library/Extensions The run permission fix and rebuild cache. I see you have the Haswell version of 5558, so make sure to replace the DSDT with this one, also on the guide. Not sure issue you have with Battery, please be more specific... If you have Intel Wireless card, it's not supported and needs to be replace with a supported card. What card do you have?
  15. The problem is with the DSDT. The guide you're following uses a bootpack for a different model. Although the model is very similar but there are still differences. Boot to Clover GUI, hit the F4 key, continue booting to OS X. Compress and attach the /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin folder here. I'll patch the files for you. What BIOS version are you on?
  16. What keyboard did you select? Use ANSI and the alt+command key should be correct and the ~ key should also work. By the way, you signature is wrong, should be E7440, not E4400.
  17. Go ahead and update those kexts and remove IntelBacklight. If it's still not working, you could try my new E7440 files here under Sierra.
  18. BIOS not posting is system board or memory issue. Start with taking out 1 ram and test. Or replace if you have spare.
  19. Looks like IntelBacklight.kext is not working anymore on 10.12.4. Brightness buttons works but won't change anything.
  20. You most likely have version 7 or 8 and Dr. Hurt have the track stick disabled for those models, so I think that also affected the mouse keys.
  21. Check if the value has changed in the config file
  22. I noticed it no longer generates error 17 on successful rebuilding of cache!
