You probably just need to format it first.

Use 'More Reply Options' to attach compressed file. Here's your patched file dsdt.aml.zip
-
No, you have an Alps touchpad. Click on my signature below Exx20 Touchpad. Remove any PS2 you're using. For Battery percentage, remove NewWay from your config file. What kext are you currently using for your Battery?
-
Do you have a DSDT? If you don't, launch Chameleon Wizard, under DSDT->Compile/Extract, click on Save. Compress the file and upload it here. You are also using the wrong smbios. Switch it to MBA 6.2 or MBP 11.1 using Chameleon Wizard. You won't find MBP 11.2 from Chameleon Wizard though.

Try changing the resolution in the config.plist.
-
Yes, it's the same patch for HD4600 and HD4400 as far as these 2 models are concerned. This only allow HDMI video. You'll need additional patch for HDMI audio.
-
You can't have both graphics card running in Hackintosh. Do you have full QE/CI with HD8790m? Take a look at Herve's guide, similar specs, just need to patch your own DSDT.
-
You could try adding back the ig-platform-id to a second config2.plist. You can then select it through Clover Options and see if it'll load with full QE/CI. What did you use to create your installer? I don't see /S/L/E in your Installer, not the EFI partition. Did you use "createinstallmedia" or other media?
-
Do you see AppleIntelBDWGraphicsFramebuffer in the USB Installer? It's located in System/Library/Extensions Well, now that you have successfully installed it to the mSATA, check to see if AppleIntelBDWGraphicsFramebuffer is in /S/L/E. You don't have QE/CI because you removed ig-platform-id. If you don't have AppleIntelBDWGraphicsFramebuffer in your mSATA, see if you could copy it over from another system, must be 10.10.3.

You don't need DSDT and SSDT, but you do need org.chameleon.boot.plist and SMBios.plist. O.C.B.P tells chameleon what to load when it boots.
-
Yosemite, you could start reading from here. Mavericks, you can check here. If your intend is to use the Nvidia card rather than HD3000, use Wern's DSDT found in the Yosemite thread. For Clover, check this thread. There's lot of info here for this model, just use our search option.

Which OS X ?

"Extra" Folder for M4600 Setup for OS X Mavericks Setup

For sound, remove whatever audio kext you currently have and install this to /S/L/E. Attached kext is for 10.9.4/10.9.5. Battery, you can't do much there, Nvidia is a battery drainer. To fix the caching issue, rebuild your permission and rebuild cache. If you're using myHack, myFix will do all of that for you.- 20 replies

You won't get KP with Clover loader when updating. But you'll have to repatch any files you have installed to /S/L/E AppleIntelFramebufferAzul IOGraphicsFamily
-
Yes, but don't forget to remove this. <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>Boot graphics glitch, 10.10.2/10.10.3</string> <key>Find</key> <data> QYjE6xE= </data> <key>Name</key> <string>disabled:IOGraphicsFamily</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> QYjE6zE= </data> </dict>

Was your IOGraphicFamily kext vanilla? Clover patch on the fly never really work perfectly for me, some works fine, other don't. If you like, remove the Clover patch and patch the file manually and repair permission and cache. sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x41\x88\xC4\xEB\x11|\x41\x88\xC4\xEB\x31|g' /System/Library/Extensions/IOGraphicsFamily.kext/IOGraphicsFamily
-
You'll need to boot without cache first and reboot. See if that resolves it. Don't need the Daemon plist file. Just place voodoops2controller.kext in Clover/Kexts/10.10 or Other which ever you prefer.
-
Add this to KextToPatch. I also added Trim and USB 3.0 fix. Remove GenericUSBXHCI.kext and -gux_defer_USB2 boot flag Single finger side scrolling should work with VoodooPS2Controller without further configuration. If not, remove whatever PS2 controller you have and replace it with this
-
Your config looks fine. Are you on Yosemite 10.10.3? The kext I attached is for 10.10.3 only. Did you install with a kextwizard and repair permission and rebuild cache?
-
What do you have in your config file?
-
You need the following installed to gain QE/CI: The DSDT attached in post #333 AppleIntelFramebufferAzul attached in post #333 FakePCIID_HD4600_HD4400 FakePCIID
-
Explain what fix you applied... Sounds like you don't have QE/CI at all.
-
MacBook Pro 9.1 should work for your ivy-bridge.
-
That's just for wireless and work out of the box, but make sure it's DW1510 for sure. I seen other reporting they ordered DW1510 but end up with DW1520.
-
Location of file depends on if you're on Clover or Chameleon. For Wireless, it depends on if you only want wireless or combo wireless and bluetooth. Look at the link to see what's supported.
