  1. 1. remove the /Extra first 2. Move the Extra.zip to / 3. Double click on the Extra.zip to extract it and then do this sudo su chmod -R 777 /Extra cd /Extra ./edptool.command

  3. ahh .. like that.. then i would suggest teamviewer.. however.. i will have a look at your extra.zip when i find some free time .. maybe some of the stuff can be added to EDP. few questions: 1. What EDP are you using now ? 2. What bootloader are you using ? 3. What version of OSX ?

  16. Th D430 have 1gb build onto the Mobo, as for ssd.. just get a zif pata ssd.. i use a Runcore 120gb.. works like a charm.. and its fast
  17. totally agree there.. even 10.6.5 was more stable.. but i guess 10.6.7 hopefully will clean up in all that

  23. I also have D430 - 1,33ghz model with SSD.. runs like a dream.. However, i use powerpack and voodoops2controller.. its strange... i wonder if there is several diffrent D430 models out there.. besides the 1,2 and 1,33 ghz i mean... hmmm... what bootloader are you using .. and have you upgraded to 10.6.6 ?
  24. next time you have one, grap your /var/log/system.log and /var/log/kernel.log and post them in a new thread in the support forum... might share some light on the case.. also take note of what it says...
