  1. myhack 3.1 works fine and might correct your usb issue with boot 0, just whenever you run edp run the myfix app after. so they are both synced... so when you use the boot pack extra file run myfix so it generates the necessary files... after os install and you run edp to build for your model then again run myfix to sync the kexts/catches....
  2. yeao dosen't look like a good idea to update
  3. well it's alot of work and many things are going on at the same time. but changes are coming. so be patient. we do have personal lives to also attend to just as you do.
  4. well when you delete the network settings there is a button that says apply. do that before re adding the network

  6. usually it gives you 9 minutes to plug it in once it tells you it's low... i would follow the directions, might help..
  7. have you tried just deleting all networks, apply settings, then add them back?
  8. well you can run gmafix from edp options
  9. does it not work in extended view?
  10. well if you can get to terminal you can just run myfix... but did you try booting with the -f -v flag
  11. after you remove the IntelCPUMonitor.kext you need to run myfix again...
  12. http://www.wacom.com/en/Shared/Downloads/Drivers/Driver%206-2-0-w4%20Mac.aspx would that work for you?
  13. have you tried changing the resolution in Boot.plist to 1440x900x32 ?
  14. remove /Extra/Extensions.mkext and /Extra/Extensions/IntelCPUMonitor.kext there not needed for a lion OS install.... it looks like the fakesmc plugin is not compatible with the version of fakesmc in the boot pack but for an install there is no reason to need the plugin IntelCPUMonitor.kext if that doesn't work try with myhacks generic extra folder you might have to use the cpus=1 flag to correct stuttering of tsc. and might need a usb mouse and keyboard
  15. does nvhal50 kext load at boot? if not you might have to boot with GraphicsEnabler=Yes or add your hardware id to the nvhal50 info plist i think it's nvhal for that card...
  16. boot chameleon with cpus=1 flag and see if it runs better if it does then you need tscsync.kext
  17. quote: I don't want to spend my time troubleshooting and bug hunting..... if this is the case then this might not be fore you. theses machines run 80-90% perfect... if you need perfection then please purchase a real mac. I'm not trying to be rude in any way but there will always be a quirk with this...if it's not graphics, it's thermal temps, or the trackpad, or sleep, or audio or usb's or something. hope that helps you. it doesn't matter the model or manufacturer... they all will have some little quirk with them or an update will sneak in and destroy your OS setup so if you do chose to install osx on non mac hardware save yourself a headache and once you get it where it is running well make a backup of it... you will be using it at some point.
  18. then try booting with -v -f flags at chameleon boot
  19. in the Extra folder... also D620SLV1 does not work with 10.6.3 disc... the kexts have conflicts
  20. well last i see is that fakesmc is having issues. also what chameleon are you using, if it's recent then you need to rename com.apple.boot.plist to org.chameleon.Boot.plist are you trying to boot 10.7.3?
  21. just turn it off in advanced bluetooth settings while your there you might want to turn off the mouse search as well...
  22. you sure you don't have a high res model check in bios? or the boot graphics set too high in the Boot.plist try like a 1024x768x32?
  23. are you running 64 bit with 8 gigs of ram or 32? 32 really does not utilize all the extra ram.
  24. did you rerun edp after doing the update?... it most likely needs to rebuild the kernel cache again... use option "a" rebuild from existing option.
