no odds on d620 it runs lion i have 2 of the intel graphics versions the one with the t7200 core2duo runs better than the t5500 one i have... t7200 runs way cooler temp wise. use edp 2.2 for lion

check with chameleon wizard, your org.chame plist if ethernet en1 is selected or not

did you remove your networking devices in prefpane then save changes and add them back with a new location and make sure the enable wifi option is checked plus checked the bios option for wifi enabled and the switch on the side on?

yeah your correct... it's same method as first partition. use diskutility to resize and make a new partition for second os. boot with the myhack and install osx to the new partition. then install edp to that partition and build. you should not have to reinstall chameleon as it's already installed on the first partition. or you can clone your existing install to the second new partition

and you have set bios defaults plus set ahci for sata?

did you turn off dynamic acceleration in bios?

i think the d630 highres ribbon is used as for inverters i think it's the same but I'm sure someone will chime in.... hopefully

I'm using a t7200 and it runs cool as well compared to like temps on t5500, t7200 runs at about 26* according to istat. but the macbook2,1 actually came with the t7200.

10.6.7 i think uses edp 1.9.1, 1.9.2 is 10.6.8

always bump up the bios to last dell revision... i think it's a17 according to our wiki for d630

have you tried some of the newer chameleon distros there constantly adding ati and nvidia support. some times you need graphicsenabler=yes sometimes=no depending on the card... also try the nvidia site for osx drivers

and you guys are using a password? that's the most important part....

make sure the d430 is core 2 duo not core duo.... as core duo will only support up to snow leopard.

well where are you at in terms of os rev... someTimes combo pack solves weird issues also use disk utility after to repair permissions.

yeah if you boot -v you will see where your stuck at probably sleep enabler kext. for 10.6.8 use edp 1.9.2 you can try booting with pmVersion=0 -v

try hitting f12 at boot and select usb?

make sure you don't have the backlight sensor on in bios while there bring the brightness up to max on both screens bat/no bat. in osx you also have FN key and (look on the right side of the keyboard in blue) up and down arrows. also if that still doesn't work there are options in power management for dim screen on batt. and then theres also the gma brightness fix in edp. and also in chameleon there is a dakewake0 option.
