  1. maybe the way you are editing your plist is corrupting it. don't use text edit incase thats what you are using. or the whole efi volume might have corruption which is also known to happen.
  2. basicly you would have to use a skylake setup as close to your own as possible. things that you might not want to include in your testing unless it matches are DSDT, SSDT, Ethernet, WIFI, and audio most likely you will have to set DVMT for graphics to work. maybe a kext named lilu and some of it's plugins might help there. if not you have to use the shell command line to set it
  3. yes you are correct iphone will not connect like android device even in real mac. for older machine you can try http://osxdaily.com/2011/09/16/enable-airdrop-ethernet-and-unsupported-macs/to enable over wifi maybe.
  4. yes try other slots. or check if your wifi switch is off
  5. usually you cant connect to iphone via BT like you can a keyboard or mouse. airport you might have to select view older device when in finder airdrop. and continuity you might have to log out of iCloud and log back in.
  6. when installing clover try using OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi in the uefi drivers option.
  7. probably means the switch on the side of the machine is not working properly. or the bios setting. or they don't know there is a switch on the machine.
  8. dw1510 probably needs the same thing.
  9. if the 2 kexts i linked to do what they say they do then you will not have to use shell to set DVMT if that is what you mean.
  10. he probably has issues setting DVMT using the instructions on that guid. you can try a new way to set it it requires lilu kext and a plugin for it called intel graphics DVMT fixup kext you would put them in clover efi kext folder whatever os your on or use the "other" folder https://github.com/vit9696/Lilu
  11. i believe there is an option to set the boot display in clover
  12. mmktt there is some good info on the topic here http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN115952/how-to-configure-three--3--displays-on-a-dell-latitude-notebook-with-intel-hd-4x00-graphics?lang=EN
  13. you might only be able to use the HD3000 graphics but you need to know what the rest of the harware is so you can get the proper kexts to support your system. like ethernet, wifi, BT, trackpad. we do not use niresh distro so we really have no idea how to help configure it.
  14. if you can get your hands on clover 4064 or higher it might auto detect your graphics for you.
  15. sleep issues tend to be usb bus related. sometimes network wake on lan bios option can also cause sleep issues. or old network kexts.
  16. if you have an ssdt for cpu that is not the same cpu as this machine remove it. maybe thats why you get the cpu3 error.
  17. unless you delete your own partitions in disk utility i do not think this method will. but if your not sure back / clone your data first.
  18. search the forum then i am sure a few posts will come up on that machine
  19. if it has nvidia graphics you might be able to use it for OS x. if intel only then OS x will not run properly because of unsupported graphics
  20. make sure the connectors to the motherboard are seated correctly. also make sure the track pad is clean especially around the space between track pad and palm rest.another thing would be to put your trackpad kexts into Library/Extensions
  21. you can try getting clover 4064 or higher it auto detects and corrects some intel HD common issues. for hd4400 you will still need rehabman fake pcid kext
  22. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/563-sierra-mbr-patch/
  23. having windows can be a factor. you might need MBR.patch because i doubt your windows is installed on a GUID formatted partition drive
