Bronxteck replied to EMlyDinEsH's topic in Smart Touchpad
i think you had to use an older trackpad prefpane. it might be buried somewhere in this thread. -
at clover prompt remove ig-platform id and only use inject intel. see if clover detects it for you
-
does haswell need plugin type 1 i dont see it in config or is it in SSDT
-
check at clover boot GUI if intel graphics injection is enabled. also what version of clover are you using? 4061 has intel graphics boot issues latest downloadable built version is 4077 which should be fine.

i believe herve was referring to "Your DW1560 is either not in a WWAN slot (mandatory to get Bluetooth over USB) and/or your USB ports are not all functional (you would need to patch your DSDT to rename EHCx devices to EH0x and install a USB injector kext)."

dell e6430s performance problems - 2 Machines - only one fast
Bronxteck replied to cellstorm's topic in The Archive
I would start by comparing the bios settings from the "good" machine to the other. make sure there both on the same level playing field since OS wise everything else was the same. also try swapping batteries and power supplies. an inadequate battery or power supply can also sometimes cause the machine to get stuck in a low power state and not throttle properly -
maybe check your computers bios to see if your graphics card settings changed.
-
is it showing in usb? check your bios options and the switch on the machine. or reseat the card in another slot

globs of thermo paste will not cool. you will have to put the blue pad back or use copper shims in it's place. -
i would think that using a bootpack for your specific os version would be a better fit then one that's not.
-
that would be smbios configuration related. it must have changed in your config. if you are not specifying one in your config then maybe your bootloader is selecting it for you
-
try with this clover since 4061 has issues with intel graphics. Clover_v2.4k_r4076.zip

maybe the way you are editing your plist is corrupting it. don't use text edit incase thats what you are using. or the whole efi volume might have corruption which is also known to happen.
-
it might be an issue. so yes.

basicly you would have to use a skylake setup as close to your own as possible. things that you might not want to include in your testing unless it matches are DSDT, SSDT, Ethernet, WIFI, and audio most likely you will have to set DVMT for graphics to work. maybe a kext named lilu and some of it's plugins might help there. if not you have to use the shell command line to set it
